  1. Well we finally tore into the bike. I first drained the oil with no signs of metal shavings or anything noticably wrong. Then I took off the pump cover and the took off the clutch cover. I took off the bolts and springs on the clutch to see if we could get to the star. But I had to stop because I didn't have a big enough socket at my house to get the center nut off. I couldn't see anything unusual. Im not to familiar with the clutch so my terminology might be a little off. Any help would be appreciated..
  2. Well me and my buddy went out tonight and screwed with it a little. The kick starter in not ceased anymore. I was able to kick it all the way down, but i didn't do it too hard, trying to prevent any further damage. There is normal compression. We weren't able to get the bike into neutral, I couldn't even find neutral. When in gear, I pulled the clutch in and sometimes the wheels would roll sometimes they wouldn't. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. Well once i realized i had lost first gear and i knew something was wrong i was able to kick start it and ride it backk to camp? But once i let it sit for about 20 minutes and then tried to kick start it again thats when it ceased up on me. The kick starter wouldn't move and i couldn't even get the bike into neutral. The real wheels were locked up even when I pulled the clutch in.....Any help would be appreciated.
  4. My buddy and i were riding one weekend and i let him take out my '90 banshee for a spin. We were drivin around and all of a sudden the bike died. No smoke, no oil leaks nothing. So i started it back up and while riding around i noticed i had lost first gear. So we went back to camp, talked about it for a while then tried to fire it up again after 20 minutes but the motor had ceased up. Couldn't kick start it, couldn't even get it into neutral. Any answers on what might be wrong would be appreciated.
