  12. quick questio, when the bashee is on without lights, how much watts does it use? i think it was 8 watts, but not too sure.
  13. a friend of mine has the mr16 HIDs, and i am not too impressed by the lighting. like you said, that lights are too small. i do like the baja design fuego 4" lights: https://www.bajadesigns.com/NET/images/items/613296big.jpg i just can't justify the price of these lights,... yet.
  14. some friends and i were thinking of purchasing chatterboxes for desert riding. anyone use these chatterboxes? if so how are they? thanks.
  15. hey whats up justin, the info you gave me last year helped out a lot, thanks. the HID lights work great. i used them here in san diego (i went riding at proctor valley road and they light up everything). Still can't wait to try them out on president's day weekend. but i do want to get the trail tech mr16 HID lights, just so the lights will complimant each other. i just got back from ocotillo wells and the lights did not come loose from all the vibration, which is a good thing also the lights can be removed easily. two allen bolts and disconnect the harness. but i like to ride with the lights on : ) Justn, i would to see some pics of your lights
  16. i have similar kit, i bought it from the snap-on dealer. but i have to drill a hole then use the back outs. they work great.
  17. well i used the following link as a reference: http://www.dunereview.com/electricalupgrade-1.htm this was a really good write up. I bought a motorcycle battery (forgot the amperage, but they only had two motorcycle batterys, i got the higher end) from kragen, along with a battery holder. I cut the holder and rewelded so the motorcycle battery can fit perfect. I then welded the holder to the frame. At the same time i shorten the harness put the cdi box, and regulator in the space in between the gas tank and radiator. I'll take some pics in the day time so everyone can see how nice it is not to have crap under the seat :ninja: I all ready had the 200w stator from Ricky Stator. When the coil pickup broke (about a year ago) ricky stator replaced it for free and at the same time float the ground wire free of charge. I had all this stuff seating in the garage for about a year and finally decide to get this thing going. This was actually a easy conversion, especially since the ground was all ready floated. I haven't tested the bike in the dunes yet, hopefully in the next couple of weeks i can make it to glamis.
  18. Is there any where secrets places to ride in southern san diego? I have been to the 905 and to east H street (proctor valley road). I would like to try some new trails. Thanks.
  19. I bought some HIDs from kragen for $100 each. They are 7 inch lights. I did the dc conversion and I installed a R1 tail light. check out the pics.
