  1. Looking for one in the Portland to Salem area,
  2. I have the V Force 2's and they have great power but... I have now broken one and my buddy has broken 2 of them right where they bend. After being as absolutly far away from camp as posible when they broke, I am now willing to give up some power for reliablity, what wont break but still makes for good power? aplication= the motor is about as built as you would go with a 350cc dune port t5's Dyna ign., .040 shaved head Motor had only 20gl of fuel run thru it since the rebuild and shoving a piece of carbon fiber thru my cranckcase is not my idea of cool. At least the local Honda shop stocked replacements at $70 a side yea they stock repacements so I would say they must break fairly often to be stocking a whole bunch of $70 Yamahaha parts at a Honda store fyi: symptom = cold exaust one side, lack of power the dead hole , cyl will pick up every so often while riding it to where the truck will come get it.
  3. wont a bad crank seal leak out just the one side (pretty sure it dose), ok so say you put your motor together with some ones chitty aftermarket seal, or you bugger it up on I think theres a key that it slides over or you got some sand on it, what ever happened, Even thou its new that dont meen chit, on cars for sure I know that as fact. I seen so many aftermarket crank & cam seals fail on import cars. I absoloutly refuse to use any thing but a manufactures seal on the crank or cam of the cars I work on its cost me lots of free work in the past.
  4. you would get caught bout middle of streamin
  5. ok cool thaks guys! I'm gonna let the birdy his motor up. I dont mind changin the plugs every few trips (I been checkin plugs each trip so far), I just rebuilt this motor my first 2stroke build), and shes runnin tit's with 320's and a 6 grove needle 3ed from the bottom. I hear thats kinda big but it seems to like it there.
  6. Ok a little birdy told me that if you run you bike a little on the fat side for the main jet and clip height it will eventually gum the rings cause hot spots and fry the pistons. Any truth to that? I'm havin a hard time with believing it.
  7. thanks guys found the pictures
  8. I am going to modify my shift star for a little better shifting and am looking for some pictures. I have been told how its done except I guess there is some netural "back cut" mod that is a good idea also. Any help would be great this was the picture I used to help figure out how much material gets removed on the points of the star the netural thing has me confused thou
