  1. the thing is i dont have the money for like a 450 or the 450r any other sugjestions???
  2. we ride alot of woods(its new england so its rocky rooty muddy sandy and snowy) and and feilds i used to have a 400ex till that got stolen. was into all the tricks could do them all from standing to switch back high chairs, didnt help that i learned and rode with the best feestyle motorcyclist in the U.S. (#1 feestyler asphalt magasine, chancey veara) him and his group showd me all of it could hang like any wheelie on demand like any gear. rode 1 for about 2 years and now im lookin into a banshee possibly wondering how well it will keep up and im just lookin to hang simple wheely's. so how would a shee be or should i stick with a 4 stroke?
  3. my dirt bike did that like in the low gears in the upper rpm it starts to cut out. i figured out the problem in the first couple gears like on my bike it was mainly 1st and some times second depending on the conditions of riding. i tryied playing with my carb and jets nothing so i finally figured it out , when the bike or any bike is in 1st or 2nd the motor is under its heaviest load so there is the most compresion you can get in the chanber so what was happening was my rings were worn so it was popping because it builds and the compressed air blows buy the rings so it wants and tries to go but there just isnt enough compression. you can try a compression check and find out what your compression is and check both cylenders they should be about the same. but the thing is i did that to my bike and it was all good but when i would run it, it sucked so i just said screw it and changed them its been fine ever sense.
  4. i had a 400ex all done up like every thing. it got stolen so that put a big old dent in my pocket home insurence didnt cover it (yeah i know good ridence all that cuz it was a honda blah blah i know ) but now i aint into wheelies as much and want a shee just cuz they rip so hard? im not lookin to spend alot of money maybe like 3000 to 3500 tops. still tryin to recover ya know and with winter coming and lakes freez'n in like 2-3 months im getting the itch. so what do u think like years i will be looking at for that. dont really want 1 that done up would like to do it my self so basiclly some thing simple that runs and what year around will i be able to find? or would i be better off buying a new 1 and financing?
