  1. Thanks Chris 642! that's awesome i've been trying to find out what pipes they are ever since i got it. That's definately them.
  2. I bought this 2001 Banshee about six months ago and the guy said the pipes were trinity that he got from JMC racing ( a local guy who imports gear and puts his stickers on it) anyway i haven't been able to find any like them and was after a bit of info. I assume they're top end based on the bikes i've raced against. I have no problems, they seem to be really good it's just that people always ask "what pipes are they" and i'm like ah um i dunno. My Banshee
  3. thanks for the info i'll get a heat gun tomorrow then and give it a go. good idea of testing under the seat. i'll test it on that flap that covers the tool kit holder it's stuffed anyway.
  4. that looks really tidy, never seen anything like that before. One of the guys where i ride has a rubber floor mat zip tied to the front of his shee - looks trick! probably not copyrighted over there maybe you could try that look? j/k
  5. I like to keep my banshee looking good as well as running good and was wondering if anyone could help me with a few tricks? I use Meguiars trim rejuvinator on the plastics and it works great especially around the filler cap. gets a nice shine that lasts. but i do have a few stress marks ( see my pictures in images section right rear fender) i was wondering how succesful the heat gun method is and exactly how hot you need to get it. I gave it a try with a hair dryer (not mine) and it didn't work. Does anyone have any before and after pics of this method? or know of any good products?
  6. Thanks guys, pics are now in images section
  7. Hello all, I'm a Banshee owner from Australia, I've got a 2001 model that i bought second hand about 6 months ago and have been riding it every chance I get since. I ride at Stockton Dunes which is on the East Coast of Australia about 2hrs North of Sydney (if any of you feel like getting the atlas out.) Anyway its an awesome place to ride - supposedly the best in Australia but i've never ridden anywhere else. It runs for about 36km along the coast next to a great surfing beach and averages about 1.5 km wide. (I know you probably won't get metric but thats all i know) Anyway its big. I'll take some pictures eventually to show you guys. search google for : newcastle dune riders and you should find an old web site with some older pictures of it if you're interested. For now though, I've taken some pictures of my Banshee that i would like to post in the images section but i've got no idea how. It would be awesome if i could send them to someones email address and get them posted if that works? In return I'll offer a guided tour of Stocko if you ever come to Australia. cheers. Oh yea by the way this is an awesome forum and I'm glad i found such a valuable resource you all seem to have some really cool rides.
