i just tested mine out this past weekend 24mar06 and they are awesome, i was haulin ass and came up on like a 6-8 foot straight drop off, i locked up the brakes, but i still flew, landed it nicely, with the stockers i would have been over for sure, plus the jumping is way better, and they are not streching my ball joints like has been posted,,, imo, buy them, you will love the results

i have a set of banshee shocks for sale, they have red shock covers on them, never had the covers off so i don't know what color the springs are?
i went to yfz450 shocks so i don't need them anymore.....

they make tools to get them out, go to mcmaster carr web site, or msc industrial supply co. and check them out, if that don't work, breaking it is an option due to the hardness, but it will more than likely leave some in there which will make it hard to re-tap it, if yo know what i mean.. the dremal and flat head is a good option,
how deep is it in the hole, i would pm me, i dont check back every day. later eric

if you are still wanting to make it go,,,, port the head, get a hot cam and hi compression piston, bigger carb is a must as well..... the pipe did not do much, or the k&n...
cam and piston around 150 - 200
carb - 200+
almost up to the price of a used yfz450

i bought a set of banshee pegs off ebay and cut the peg from the mont and welded them together, i bought a set of yfz450 pegs and was going to cut them off and weld them to the mounts, instead i bought the ac propeg nerfs and the pegs are awesome, like twice as wide and like a foot long. i can put both my feet on the same peg and there is still room on the end...

if you want to stay on pump gas, i would go with 21cc or bigger domes...
as for timing, you could get the plate or a deg. key, depends on if you plan on adjusting it

the mon test is to see how much compression it takes to detonate, right, which would make sence, high compression, more detonation unless rate for said compression

spin tires, change oil.... repeate, have not had a problem yet..... lol

i got my yfz shocks for like 180.... and i only had to chop a little chunk out of the a-arms to get them to work, the rest i took off the shock...

i love mine... much easier to work on,,,,, i think i am at a 195 main and a 48 pilot. 4th clip on the needle...

i landed a jump on my grab bar once, bent that thing till it was straight up, after my ass stopped hurting and i got the road rash to stop bleeding, i had my buddy run it over with his truck a few times,,,,, looked like shit, but got me through the day... lol then i bought a new one off ebay....

my left cylinder overheated riding my quad i thought it could have been my carbs werent synch and one was runnin lean....i bought the trinity 35mm cv kit and put everything back together.. after starting it the right cylinder wouldnt fire untill the rpm's started to climb i figured this could be weak spark so i replaced the ignition coil...the problem did not go away? all the electrical seems to be in good working order i just cant find the problem. it seems to run alright when its chocked but that doesnt make since to me... almost everything on my quad has been replaced and is in new condition my mind is boggled any help?!?!?!?!? anybody
have you checked compression on the cylinders? that is where i would start....

spend the money and get the lockout clutch, direct drive has one for pretty cheap. the lockout is the cheap part, it is the cover that costs,
anyone modified there stocker cover themselves and if so, how and do you have pic's

but a tank and impact,,, bout 100 is all i have in mine and works great, also the cordless is nice when on the road,, but i have not got that far yet..

mine is rod is stuck in my crank.. i carry a big drill bit and a pipe tap with me whereever i go.. since there is no oil or anything i just carry a plug and some tape to put back in there if it ever messes up while i am at the dunes...
