  1. uumm can I hang out with you guys?
  2. Allright, Done and Done!! gonna try it out tomarrow if it's not raining.
  3. Thanks Man
  4. I'm installing a new Tusk clutch and was wondering if you still need to use the old rubber cushion rings with the new fibers or can you leave them out?
  5. There's enough room after I ported my cylinders that they won't touch. I was wondering about the fact that they are flat facing the cylinder though, not sure how well they would seal. I wanted to throw them in, make a couple of passes and pull them to see if there was any wear or blow by. I figured I would post what I did on here first to see how many people would slam me on them.
  6. I added a couple of ports to these stock cages
  7. I paid $2.50 ea. for NGK caps at the dealer.
  8. I did mine just like that. It looks sweet!!! All I did was tape paper to the fenders and drew flames on it then cut the design out and traced the outer edge with a white crayon flip the paper over to do the opposite side and then I cut the fenders with a rotozip drywall tool. It took a while to get the disgn I liked but it wasn't that hard. The bad part is you can't go back as soon as you start cutting.
  9. Jetting Faqs Try this link it should show you what you need
  10. might be a strech but check your intake manifolds to make sure they didn't crack when you landed.
  11. I live in Michigan so I'm pretty high above sea level. I have 330's with stock 25 pilots because that was all my local dealer had. I need to up my pilot to 30 or more. Sounds like you've got the right idea, just run it and check your plugs to get it dialed in. I didn't do anything with the transfer ports and the thing still just screams.
  12. I have done it, with no noticeable problems with the piston. I'm wondering how much you would gain by doing it. In theory it should allow more fuel into the crankcase right?
  13. After my cylinders are ported should you open the windows on the pistons to match the ports?
  14. My jetting isn't right yet so the low end is a little hesitant but the throttle response is great and when the powerband kicks in you better be holding on tight!!! I also have my head milled .040, Fatty pipes with K&N pods. I did all of this at once, so I couldn't tell you the individual gains.
  15. I used them on my bike and it made a huge difference. I also raised the exhaust port, but I don't remember the measurement. I don't think Dremel makes an attachment that will get to your transfer ports. The most important thing that I can think to tell you is if you haven't done any porting yourself on a Banshee is to watch out for your water jackets. The templates are real easy to use and you will be amazed by the change.
  16. Use waterproof or just regular bearing grease, just keep doing it at regular intervals and your bearings or bushings will last alot longer than most machines out there. I grease mine every 5 or 6 rides and wipe off the excess grease and then "Ride It Like You Stole It"!!!!
  17. Allright!! I'm not waiting any longer. I just ordered a set of Wiseco's. These cast pistons suck anyway.
  18. Yes, I have about a 1/4" at the lever
  19. I just built up my Banshee and I put a stock clutch in it. The fibers, springs and plates look great, but it slips when I nail the throttle in every gear. It will eventually hook up but not when I need it. Can I just put in heavier springs or should I get an aftermarket clutch?
  20. Well Put
  21. I took the spark plug ends off the wires and slipped heat shrink tubing over them. You can get that in almost any color.
  22. I found out they are ART pistons.
  23. I bought some pistons off of Ebay and can't tell who the manufacturer is. They are made in Japan and have ARI 1UA00 on them. They are .040 over and I'm trying to find the right set of rings for them.
