  1. Tomorrow me and my dad are going look at a 97 shee. It has fmf pipes and a cool head, IDK about anything else on the bike. I want to get it ported for some serious top speed, is welding the crank necessary?? also, wil lthe stock clutch be able to handle a lot of HP?? Thanks
  2. also, how hard will it be to be able to ride a wheelie a logn ways?? I heard it was hard to keep it in the right rpm range. But, with some seat time, is it pretty easy to get used to rding a wheelie a long way?? Thanks, Danny
  3. How reliable is a banshee??? I want one pretty badly, but I kinda want it to be premix and go. The only things i will do is put on some filters and some pipes. I want it to be reliable where I can ride ti almost any time i want. BUT, I want to be able to absoutely smoke my friends 4 strokes. One of the has a 450r, another a 400 ex, a slightly modded z400, and a few other bikes. I wanan smoke em in drags anywhere. What would you suggest to keep reliable and how reliable will it be? Thanks
  4. I am looking for a Banshee. Any year will work, but it has to be running. I would liek it to be in about a 6 hour drive from New Orleans. It does nmot6 have to look pristine, just running pretty well. Thanks, Danny
  5. ?????????????????????ANYONE????????????????????
  6. I am still looking, it doesnt havr to be pristine, just rideable for a month or 2. I want to do alot of work to it, come on!!
  7. hey harley_sr, i was lookin at your bike and then i was gonan talk to you about it and then ebay said it was sold. that pisses me off. i wanted that bike, nice wheeler
  8. ok thanks sredish, you kno ur banshee shit
  9. ok, when ppl say" I am switching to alky" does that mean like 110 octane or sumthin, or methanol?? My dad drag races cars, and is liek the 110 octane gas considered alchohal??? I am thinkin of running race gas in my banshee, but do i need new carbs and such, or i can run the stock ones. Tanks, danny
  10. Does anyeone have a banshee for sale?? any year? I have about $1500 to spend on it. I wouold like it to be running, but it doesn't have to look real good, and it doesnt have to run like new. Just in okay condition, not too raggity. O yeh, it needs to be within about a 4 hour drive of New Orleans. Thanks, Danny
  11. Rode a Honda Rancher.. 500cc.. and it was really nice. actually dude, they only make a rancher 350 and a 400 I ahve a Honda Foreman 450, I would suggest it to anyone. look at my pics and pm me for my mods. http://photos.yahoo.com/chevy_bowtie_only (that is my photo album) Danny
  12. Well, i have about 400 saved up and i get abotu 100 more every week. The dunes I go riding in are the La dunes, but me and my dad wil ltake a trip out to glamis when he gets his wheeler. Thanks, Danny
  13. and about how much with the infram drag pipes?
  14. also, what kind of HP could i possibly expect with the CPI drag pipes? Thanks
  15. What kind of porting should I get. I wil lahve toomey t-5's and stcok carbs as my setup. I will mostly play around in my yard or go riding on the street, but I will be goign to the dunes, and I want to be pretty fast when i am there. I have a choice between trail/mx porting, aggressive dune port, and then Drag port. I am 14 years old, and cant afford a rebuild evry year. Which porting should i get, and ABOUT how much hp should I see at sea level. I might also get some CPI in frame drag pipes, I'm not sure yet tho. Thanks, Danny
  16. I have thought about a 4 stroke, mainly a 400ex because of the price, and I would ahve to spend a great deal of money to make it keep up with a Z. On the banshee I plan of getting it ported and polished, and new pipes, and a few other parts.
  17. Well, I can get a banshee for really cheap that needs work and ahve it running for about 5 or 600 dollars more. I like the way they sound and the speed. I have my Foreman for my trail riding and hunting, so this quad will jsut be used for messin aroung in the yard doin donuts and wheelies and racing my friends. Also, my neighbor has a Z and me and him will be going to the dunes every couple of months.
  18. OK, heres the scoop. I am 14 years old and I have a job and I make roughly $400 a month. I jsut bought a Foreman, so that is my mud/ go slow quad. I want a sport quad and I know I can get a banshee cheap. BUT, I wont be able t0 rebuild it every time I ride and such. Like I want it to be if my friends ask me if I want to go ride with them, I wil lbe able to just liek on a spur of the monet type thing. Would a banshee last for maybe a year and a half or 2 years without a complete rebuild?? Right when i get it, I will redo the topend and if it doesnt have a good set of pipes on it, I will put some on it. Is this a good quad for me?? I want to be able to ride wheelies, and mess around in the yuard, and go up to La Dunes about 3 or 4 times a year. Thanks, Danny
  19. When i get my Banshee, I will want to bore it out wqhen I rebuild the top-end and also get the crank welded. On the Bluetraxx Forum, they told me about this place called CP Customs. they have a pretty nice site and my it is only about a 30 minute drive from me. Does he do good engine work that is worth the money?? Thanks, Danny
  20. OK, I am ithnking of getting a Banshee. My Foreman is Big&slow and I want something FAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTT. I am 15 years old and am 5'7" and weigh 155 pounds. I have been riding 4wheelers and 3wheelers since i was about 4 or 5 years old, so i have experience. I have to pay for all of this 4wheeler, so the Banshee I get will be used, prolly like a 1995. Right when I get it, I want to put some mods on it. I am tihnking toomey t-5's and I want to rebuild the top-end on it. what would be a good size to bore-out the cylinder to keep it semi-reliable?? Thanks, and sry bout the long post, Danny
