  2. So my spark plug wires got rigged by the last person to own them so i cant get new spark plugs to fit in so im in need of a new set that will fit my j-arm shee.... code is 2gu-50-j1426 let me know what you guys got. thanks a bunch

  3. Speaking of cylinders, there is a piece of rubber on the bottom of the jug that mates to the case. Can you remove this or is it safe to powder coat with this in place?

Any problems with the powder coat from heat when you are riding?

Remove the rubber it will melt or deform. and as far as motorparts go when powdercoating people usually use a ceramic powder that can withold the heat alot better. And if you guys need somewhere to powdercoat the bigger parts I work at a professional powdercoating shop we got a huge oven and sandblaster and the whole works very expensive top quality equipment.

  4. not trying to argue, but aircraft stripper wouldnt even think about removing the coat of my cover. I spend hours trying to get the black off with the stuff, and it wouldnt come off. Then finally i sand blasted it, and went over it with a scotch bright pad and smoothed it right back out. It only took me about 4 minutes with the pad to smooth out the sand blasting. It didnt pit my cover bad at all, but removed all of the paint. Then i just hit it with a little buffing wheel and some good polish and I have had people ask me if it was chromed!!!

Thats exactly what i did and i think its worth it to sandblast it so you don't have to mess with the paint.
