  1. ALL THOSE MODS WITH STOCK PIPES? WTF ARE YOU DOIN.
  2. I HAVE THE SAME EXACT CARBS AND I HAVE PRO DESIGN HEAD W/18CC DOMES, VFORCE REEDS AND TOOMEY PIPES. I AM CLOSE TO SEA LEVEL AND I AM RUNNING 168 MAIN JETS. THE JETTING NUMBERS ARE TOTALLY DIFFERNT THAN THE STOCK CARBS.
  3. AT THIS POINT I ALMOST THINK THAT THERE IS GOING TO BE SOME TYPE OF AIR BUBBLE IN THE LINES NO MATTER WHAT I DO. I HAVE JUST TRIED A FEW DIFFERNT TEST TO SEE WERE THE AIR IS COMING FROM AND HAVE NO LUCK, BUT I JUST CHANGED THE LOCATION OF THE "T"( RELOCATED IT TO A SLIGHTLY LOWER POSITION) AND THINGS SEEM TO HAVE GOTTEN BETTER. I WAS ABLE TO RUN IT WFO A FEW TIMES UP AND DOWN THE STREET BEFORE IT RAN OUT OF GAS. SO I DO HAVE SOME PROGRESS HOWEVER I AM NOW OUT OF FUEL LINE SO I WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORRO TO SEE IF I AM GOING THE RIGHT DIRECTION WITH THIS.
  4. IF YOUR PLUGS ARE DARK BROWN THEN YOUR MAIN JETS HAVE TO BE TOO BIG. IF YOU HAVE ANY SMALLER JETS SIMILAR TO THE SIZE THAT YOU ARE RUNNING NOW LIKE A 260 OR 265 I WOULD PUT THEM IN AND SEE IF IT RUNS ANY BETTER. ALSO WITH YOUR AIR SCREW OUT 2.5 TURNS (WHICH SHOULD MAKE IT RUN LEANER) IT REALLY SOUNDS LIKE THE MAIN IS TOO BIG.
  5. I'M NOT SURE YOU NEED TO MOVE YOUR CLIP POSTION BUT IF YOU PLUGS ARE CHOCOLATE BROWN AND IT WON'T START UNLESS YOU HAVE A NEW SPARK PLUG IN. THEN IT KINDA SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE FOULING THE PLUG. I LIKE TO KEEP MY PLUGS COLOR AROUND A LIGHT TO MEDIUM TAN COLOR. WHO MAKES YOUR CARBS? WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? WHATS YOUR ELEVATION? I AM RUNNING 28MM KEIHIEN CARBS BORED OVER TO 30MM. I HAVE 168 JETS IN AND I AM NEAR SEA LEVEL. I ALSO HAVE TWIN K&N FILTERS WHICH AREA SUPPOSED TO LEAN YOU OUT A LITTLE. MY PLUGS AREA IN THE TAN COLOR AREA. YOU CAN ALSO GO WITH A SMALLER PILOT JET. THAT WILL HELP WITH THE STARTING AND YOUR BOTTOM END(1/4 THROTTLE).
  6. I THINK THAT YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD WITH THAT ONE. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE STUMPED MYSELF AS WELL AS EVERYONE AROUND ME WITH SOMETHING THAT APPEARS SO SIMPLE. I FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO FIGURE THIS OUT. IT IS PROPABLY SOMETHING SO SIMPLE AND OBVIOUS. MAYBE I SHOULD START OVER AT THE BEGAINING.
  7. WHAT DOES F'ED MEAN?
  8. I HAVE HECKED THE FLOAT IN THE CARBS AREADY AND THEY SEEM TO BE FINE. I HAVE ALSO SWAPED THE CARBS FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER AND STILL HAVR THE SAME PROB ON THE RIGHT SIDE. DURING THE REBUILD I REPLACED THE PETCOCK AND COMPLETLY FLUSHED AND CLEANED THE TANK, SO THERE SHOULDN'T BE DEBRIS. IF I REMOVE THE FUEL LINES FROM THE CARBS AND TURN ON THE FUEL, THE FUEL COMES OUT GREAT WITH OUT ANY BUBBLES.
  9. WHEN THE BIKE IS JUST SITTING THERE I CAN MAKE THE AIR BUBBLE VERY SMALL BUT AFTER RIDING DOWN A VERY LONG STREET BY MY HOUSE IT WILL RUN OUT OF GAS TO THE RIGHT CARB.
  10. IT ACTUALLY DOES AFFECT THE PERFORMANCE. IT WILL RUN OUT OF GAS TO THE RIGHT CARB. THIS AIR BUBBLE IS ANYWHERE FROM 1/2"-1 1/2" LONG.
  11. HAVE YOU CHECKED TO SEE IF YOU ARE GETTING A GOOD SPARK? ARE YOUR AIR MIXTURE SCREWS SET AT THE SAME AMOUNT OF TURNS OUT? HAVE YOU TRIED A SET OF SMALLER JETS OR CHANGING YOUR THE CLIP POSITION ON THE NEDDLE?
  12. EVEN WITH THE GAS CAP OFF I STILL GET THE AIR BUBBLE.
  13. I JUST DID A COMPLETE REBUILT ON ME BANSHEE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. EVERYTHING WENT REALLY WELL EXCEPT I HAVE AN AIR BUBBLE IN MY FUEL LINES. I HAVE RE-ROUTED THEM ABOUT 6 TIMES THINKING THAT MY ROUTING WAS INCORRECT, ONLY TO MOVE THE AIR BUBBLE TO A DIFFERNT PLACE. THESE ARE BRAN NEW 28MM CARBS BORED OVER TO 30MM AND WHEN THE BOWLS ARE FULL OF FUEL IT RUNS GREAT I JUST CAN'T GET A CONSISTANT AMOUNT OF FUEL THOUGH THE MOTOR FOR ANY LONG OR SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. ANY SUGGESTIONS I'M ALL EARS AND OUT OF IDEAS!!! I SHOULD ALSO ADD THAT IF I TAKE THE FUEL LINES AND DISCONNECT THEM FROM THE CARBS, THEN TURN ON THE PETCOCK VALVE(WHICH IS ALSO NEW) THERE IS NO AIR BUBBLE AND I HAVE GREAT FLOW. I ALSO HAVE TAKEN OFF THE BOWLS FROM THE CARBS AND TURNED THE VALVE AND IT DOES FLOW BUT THE AIR BUBBLE IS STILL THERE. IF I AM DOING 1/4-1/2 THROTTLE THE FUEL FLOW SEEMS TO BE ENOUGH BUT AS SOON AS I GO WFO I LOSE THE FUEL TO 1 CYLINDER AND THE FUEL LINE TO THE RIGHT CARB IS EMPTY AND THE FUEL TO THE LEFT CARB IS FULL.( THE RIGHT FUEL LINE IS LONGER THAN THE LEFT LINE)
