I am switching from 28mm to 34mm carbs on my modded shee and wondering what kind of increase I can expect. I understand that all the increase will be on the top end with some loss of bottom end. Just wondering how much? Right now I have a stock bore with a cool head with Trinity porting, prolite pistons, boost bottle, reed spacers, and pro circuit pipes. Anybody done this?

I had a blown head gasket on mine. It was actually blowing air into the cooling jacket through the gasket leak and forcing the coolant into the overflow tank. It would then keep going out the overflow hose and onto the pipes on the right side. A new head gasket did the trick. If you have a similar situation, you will probably be able to see the coolant bubbling into the overflow tank.
