I just put on a new IMS 5.6 gallon desert tank. Prior to installing this tank, My bike ran perfect. On the first ride I noticed that the bike was idling differently that before. I also noticed that when i would just nail the gas, it would immidiately bog, then pick up as normal. I loaded it up and took it home
When i was idling it in my garage, I noticed that little if any smoke was coming out of the left pipe, the right pipe was smoking normally (normal smoke from the premix). I also noticed that the air coming fro mthe left pipe was cold as compared to hot air from the right pipe. The left pipe remained cold, even close the the motor.
I replaced plugs...no help
I compression tested cyliders...L-135psi, R-130psi
Pulled reed cages on Left side. Reeds appear to be in good shape.
Found broken throttle cable (near carb) on left side. Noticed carbs to be out of sync significantly. Would the out of sync issue cause the Left cylinder to not fire?
I have not been through the carbs yet.
Anyone have any insight on the info i have provided so far?
