i baught a friends banshee after he blew it up and tore it apart i put a lot of money into this quad and no longer want it and my daughtor is ready for a 250 so if you are interested i have a title in hand free and clear of any leins the 250 must have the same i am in sidney ohio 45365 here is whats been done chassis: new front wheel bearings new a-arm bushings new swingarm bearings new rear axle bearings new steering stem bearings motor: new crank new power pistons all new engine seals motor is bored to 64.5mm the motor will be picked up friday or monday just over 800.00 will have quad together hopefuly tuesday if interested let me know i can send pics of quad before it was blown up the file is too big to upload if anyone can do it for me please let me know

both sides will only come out 1 3/4 turn and its stuck will go back in but no matter how many times you try to work it out it both screws only goes 1 3/4 turns is this what happens when someone screws them in too tight? how would i fix it? if i force it to unscrew will it damage anything by looking at what previous owners have did to this buke anythings possible it is a cobbled up mess

is there any weight difference in the aftermarket rods as far as weight that might throw the motor out of balance?

can you change just one rod on a shee crank? the right rod is good just curious

i dug up a stock crank i had laying around and all markings are the same if it was rebuilt it appears to have been done with oem parts? or do aftermarket cranks have the same marking?

i baught a used crank off e-bay a while back when i got it i looked at the rods for up and down movement and no play looks like a newer crank and when i went to put it in a motor i noticed the stator side has 1.5-2mm of play looks like the pin is coming loose or was not pressed all the way together my question is could you take it to a yamaha dealer and get it pressed back together and work properly and if so would it need to be welded i would think it would be a good idea to get it welded and what causes it to sepatate if thats the case? almost forgot on the inner webs you can see marks like it was clamped in a jig that clamped at three points on the web possibly when it got new rod kits? there is a marking on one of the inner webs "H" and both inners have "29L" and both rods say "29L" would the "H" mean hotrods?

what tracks will let shees run on test and tune night? kil kare in xenia said no but ive seen a banshee run b-4 anybody know? muncie indiana i seen pics of shees there but dont know and ive heard about a place called laurue ohio had a dragway and might allow shees to run any info would be appreciated
