  3. i was messing with my carbs.i took off the top of the left side and i forgot to tighten to metal peice that keeps it from loosening up, i went for a quick ride it was snowing and i couldnt help it.so i come back and its gone without a trace??anyone know a trick to keeping it from losseining up ?

IT RUNS IT RUNS IT RUNS.. :flame: ..i disconnected tors..i remember when right befored it died the throttle felt strange...so i felt both the carbs when i did wot and the left carb felt strange i took off the top and the needle was stuck it took some force to get it out??put it back it looked okay...and its started right up ps idk if its just me but the tors disconnected makes it feel a little more responsize
  5. well I found out where the 3 prong conector for the damn tors damn the tors i say...i unplugged it and i got a healthy amount of spark i also cleaned the stator for good measure as well.Now i have another problem i dont think its getting any gas i pulled the plugs and they werent wet or anything.i cant win. i checked the air filter its not soaked or anything.i suck at carb diagnosis where do i start..i started by pulling off the petcock hose and makin sure its commin out it is...so where do i go from now???????
  6. the bike will run if i just disconnect the tors ??i seen 2 big whiteish connectors right under the seat im guessing thats for the tors??

Well something intresting happened today.well start with last week. we were riding in all types of terrain but theres a was alot of water,i rode threw like 2 feet and that was the deepest amount i went threw.shortly after about 2 and half hours of riding i hit one last puddle of water about a foot or so and my shee starting popin out the exhaust and throttle response was horrrible.so i shut it off for a few mins did the same thing.brought it home didnt start at all..checked the plugs,pretty beat theyve been in there for like 7 months..i bought a new set,starts up fine.and now TODAY pretty much same thing,riding all day fine,hit a little bit of water starts popping runnin shitty..shut it off and wont start up again...get it home and pull the plugs a bit wet clean em off i check for spark,nothing???do you think its coil maybe thats causing all of this ??or the TORS maybe??very confused here.oh yeah and today i rode in some sand dunes for the first time..that was fun as hell.
  8. as a matter of fact DUNEDEMON its a good thing u mentioned that cause on the left side it loose as hell thank god for cotter pins.but my ? is do you torque them or just snug em like bearing on the rotors on a car??
  9. can i get away with 35mm single carb setup..my shee is stock..or will i notice a diff with just a 33mm

  11. good point i didnt even think about dielectric grease..as for carbs what do you sugest as a replacement? what about that "kit"that changes it from 2 to a single carb??
  12. hey guys i noticed when i take the rear wheels theres a decent amount of left and right play.i was wondering if this is normal?if not do you need a hydraulic press to put the bearings back in?...i wanna start updating my banshee slowly,i wanna work on the suspension first.
  13. hey guys just wondering if anyone has any ideas to make our banshees water proof?? where i ride there is a alot of water and i cant help but ride threw it.
