Thanks! It still pulls hard like a freight train. Doing a cylinder port next winter so I planned on a new top end anyways, just not sure which head to go with yet!

I did a compression check on my '01 Banshee and its at 105 PSI on both cylinders. The cylinder head has never been off since new. Just checking to see what a 3+ year Banshee should be reading on the compression test, thanks!

Not true! I do some trail riding some of the time and its runs great, just keep the revs up and dont lug it down!

I purchased my '01 from my friend! It had plenty of mods and very little use plus it was never stored outside (thank goodness) I lucked out and bought it for pay off so he could buy him an '04 huyabusa. I would avoid buying on ebay especially atvs! Purchase one where you can look at it in person. You would be surprised what you find that pics on the internet doesnt show!!!!!! Just an FYI and my .03 cents!

Hey Led! I cant make it on the 15th thru 17th but I am available on the 9th and 10th or the 22nd and 23rd! I burnt all of my vacation for this year! I could take off with no pay on your weekend dates but I am spending all of my extra cash on my Corvette right now (its a present for my Wife))! Hopefully we can get some people to show up on my weekends off!!!

I am all for that! Lets throw some apx. times and see if it will work for everyone! October would work for me as long as its a weekend that I am not working.

I have one with a skull and crossbones and not sure if it is legal for the dunes!

You can damage the piston and cylinder bore!!!!!!! You have 2 different metals in close contact with each other i.e. steel inner sleeve and the aluminum piston! the 2 metals expand at different rates during warm up! so in other words if you hammer the motor right after start up, the aluminum piston will expand much quicker than the steel sleeve causing the pistion to scuff and gouge the cylinder wall! (not a good thing) Proper warm up will cause the cylinder and steel inner sleeve to expand together so when its time for hammer time, the 2 different metals will be at the right clearances at normal operating temperature!

Cool! I seen your post about lil Sahara. I plan on going this year but I want to get my sand paddle tires before I hit the dunes! We have sand down here on the Red River but its still not the same LOL. I hope to hook up with ya sometime in the future!
