  1. We ran my cousins bike on the dyno today. When we drag race his bike pulls about dead even with mine. When I have ridden it, it has alot more low end grunt than my bike. Its also a 4 mill stroker with the exhaust ports dropped down lower than stock, and a 2 into 1 intake with a 36mm lectron carb. He also has pro circuits pipes on it. It made about 6 less hp than mine on the dyno, the torque was about 3-4 ft lbs better than my motor, and he runs about 190 psi compression in it.

     

    Just goes to show ya, torque and that low end grunt can take you a long ways. He stops making power at around 8,000rpm, my bike stops at around 8,700-8,800 rpm.

    That engine dyno is the shizz.

  3. A stock RZ motor puts out about 60hp as set up in the road bike, while a stock banshee motor puts about mid 30 hp. Not to sure what the RZ will put out with inframe pipes in a banshee though.

     

    The banshee pipe design should give the rz more power. It has alot I mean alot more electronics.

    Selling my lectrons this are in good shape I would recommend getting new bowl gaskets and floats

    I had no luck with these only tried for a few afternoons

    has single powerjets had 2 pj's but blocked one off

    I have a brand new cable used for a few afternoons

    will let everything go for 350 shipped will neg.

     

    Has pe1 needles I just had no luck with these well have no luck with alky period so this is why I am selling gonna go with a big set of gas pwk's

     

    Not looking for trades can ship asap

    Your not the first one to mention that too me. Im literally 5mins away from the local hospital. it shouldnt be too bad its just a lil 4mil plus it has a +10 banshee swinger on it.

     

    i need some links or pics of frame mods does anyone have any suggestions or pics.

  6. I remember a while back there was a thread about a guy that had a banshee motor in a tri-z frame i believe his name was roostking on other boards but was possibly barracuda on hq. Does anyone have any pics of the frame or pics of a hybrid tri-z with a rd400 or rz motor i have the motor mocked in mine but really dont like the way I have it.

    Does anyone have any input or ideas or pics i could go by

  7. dont you need different compression for gas then alky?Did you run new plugs?Any difference in the timming advance from alky to gas?Let us know..

    the compression is 175-180 timing is set at @4 degrees advanced I'm gonna try the mains they are @ 160 now I'm gonna work up from 150's any other advice? This is really starting to urk me

  8. The Pingel shouldn't affect the richness, because the fuel no matter what has to go through the main jets...........

     

     

    I took the carbs out cleaned them and it still does it i thought it might have been the gas cap because it was modified to vent more so i put a stock gas cap on it and it still does it maybe i will try going down on the mains but it doesnt make sense it fruns perfect when the gas is off and loads up when its on. Floats seem to be fine.

Well this a rebuild from last year it was on alky with the pingel had no issues and rebuilt for this year and put it back on gas and am having issues. but before i had the pingel on gas but with biillet bowls and ran fine no its on the same gas carbs but with stock bowls. how do i measure the float and what is the recommended measurement. If that doesnt work i will work on the main jet.
