  1. i just got my rear cliper back from the shop yesterday it nned a hole tapped out in it and new pads i put in on and i got fluid in it but i cant get a real good bite it wont lock the rear tires up in wet grass it slows ya down after a while if ya pump em up also how does the rear rotor go is it supposed to be shaped like a plate which way should in cuvre into the swingarm or out to the wheel it was off when i got the bike any help is appriciated thanx

  4. about 2 years ago i had a 87 warrior u talk about outdated it was nice real nice but heavy and powerless compared to the shee i had a few mods and i kept up with the 400s what frame did they use fro this new super hoopty but they use the same heavy ass motor thats what really made the warrior heavy was that stupid motor i know the frames arent that much heavier than most other frames

  8. no no this guy is talkin about the 350 raptor in a race the 400 will usually win cuz the raptor 350 is a warrior with different gay fenders and warriors r big and heavy the 6 speed tranny doesnt really have anything to do with speed it just has more and different gear ratios but if ur lookin 4 a better quad go for the yamaha in my opinions 400s r junk 11 of my friends have em and they all had more problems than my banshee has had they r garbage
  9. if it doesnt come after a few whacks then cut it off its time 4 a new anyhow if its that rusted and seized oh yea dont forget to put sum anti-seize lubricant on it when put it back together so it dont happen agian

  11. spray the shit out of it with penetrating oil heat it up then get a piece of steel rod put it against the end of the bolt and whack the shit out of it ur prolly not gonna be able to save it if that doesnt work cut off the ends of it between the swingarm and frame then ull need to get new caps thats the only way i know of we had to do this to my friends 400ex only we had to cut it 6 places since the swingarm bolt goes through the motor junky honda designs
  12. see the thing is if u roll it with brakets on they mite do a few things like go through ur new fender they will probably turn in to a steel pretzel they may do both or they will just leave nasty stress marks in ur fenders heat em up UNDERNEATH and bend em dont use to high of heat they mite melt just enough to bend em without crackin or scarring
  13. i know they r 20s i just put on the cool head last week but anyhow im not absolutely sure on the compression i think that was b4 i put rings in it again im not sure but i know they r 20s
  14. r urs saggin now or r u trtryin to keep them from saggin i think as long as u dont roll it real bad they shouldnt sag if they do now get a heat gun use it UNDERNEATH the fenders and just bend up a lil till they sit where u want em

  18. i agree about the new fliter and powervalves and even the better pipes but y would yamaha put sumthin that looked like fullbore on a banshee id rather have grizzly fenders dont get me wrong i hate that all the new quads look alike but not fullbore im sure yamaha could do better and they did better when they designed the banshees fenders FULLBORE IS GAY

  21. i know its been discussed b4 but is welding ur crank neccesary my local shop dooshbag know it all said its no if it goes bad u just throw it away cuz they r so easy to change ive rebuilt my top end b4 and tore my shee to the frame but never had the cases apart so id like to know can any1 out there help mei dont want mine to separate but i dont wanna do anything unnesscesary thanx in advance

  24. i buy wiseco not garbage pro-x or junky vitos wiseco prolites son thats all i buy i pay 75 bucks at the most for wiseco's. where do you buy them from. i get em @ my local shop a wiseco top end kit is usually 300 bucks with a bore-hone job but that is everything piston, rings, piston clips, wrist pin, wrist pin bearing, base gasket, and head gasket. all the gaskets r cometic so they r a lil more when i bought the piston i told them to order a half of a kit 1 piston 2 rings 2 clips 1 wrist pin 1 wrist pin bearing 1 base gasket and 1 head head gasket so that ran me 100 bucks
  25. i had the same problem but mine were good for about 3 months after rebuild i ride alot i dont think ill be buying anymore of those my new wisecos have been in along time now at least 5 months so i like them prolites i like i like lol and yes these pistons r blanks made by wiseco vitos just ports them and adds that lil exhaust notch
