  1. you can adjust the spring for your weight,I had it on a 87 banshee which I am selling, I put the stock one back on the shee, I paid $950 for this shock originaly and want to recoop a little of it.yes it is set for stock swingarm
  2. I used this shock approx 20 hrs, it is currently set up for a 200lb rider for mostly sand riding, but it is adjustable.you can see a pic of a new one on ebay, item #2488743987. I am asking for $200.00 plus shipping
  3. Well, I have always been about the shee's. I just got back from pismo where I tried my new yfz for the first time, I had to make a few suspension adjustments, but the yfz was fun. Now my shee with works suspension would have been a nicer ride in that mess, but now that I'm back I am going to keep the shee and put some $$ into the yfz to make it a better ride. Then I have the best of both worlds. I also agree that there both yamaha's and are both good rides, But I really like the sound of a couple of toomeys blasting up olds.
  4. I will give you a piece of advice that is from experience. How you dress and act is a given, calling every day or so is a good idea,IF you are looking for a job that anyone else can do,meaning, if you want just to make a few bucks flippin burgers,Now if you want to make some real money, go to school and learn a trade,plumbing--everyone shits, heating and a/c--my business, doing very well at it----electical---everyone needs lights, you get what I'm saying?find a career, not just a job.You will be a lot happier in life.
  5. A boat you say, Hmmmmm, Now that's nota bad idea
  6. I am looking for some places to ride in cali that aren't to hot. I want to throw the dirts on and go ride, I heard something about gorman.
  7. Damn, you must be a REALLY old smoker, cause I have lived in callie for 37 years and smoked the herbs for 23 of those years and I have never heard that term used. I might start using it now, cool with you?
  8. I have a rear werks shock and it was a huge diff. only problem is it was $950.00 I think it was worth it,they set it up to my weight and type of riding.
  9. I mounted mine on the opposite side under the frame, never had a problem. sorry to hear about yours cause a aftermarket rear ain't cheap.
  10. I was having over heating problems, I moved my overflow upfront, still same thing. Then I found that my spark plug wires had been switched. Switched them back and all is good.If siting on your quad, the left side should run to the terminal closest to the front of the bike.Just a suggestion. Also remove the radiator cap and see if the water is moving while reving engine.
  11. I get mine from the honda dealership(VP_110),When I had my pipes rechromed,I had them hot tanked to remove the carbon.I don't know if you would that to the stingers though.
  12. hell yeah, Dye it green and get a mohawk,Now that's punk!
  13. To bad you guys didn't make it out there last weekend, it rained hard on friday and saturday afternoon, the dunes where like a big supercross track. it was a blast. It also didn't hurt finding out that my overheating, runlikeshit, foulplugs, problem was fixed by finding out that someone switched my spark plug wires.
