I was just going by a chart I found on here. It had a diagram of a plug pointing to the spots to read. I just looked at the diagram again and I was totally wrong. Gonna have to try this again. Ill be in touch

When i did the plug chop. went out on the road, replaced the plugs with new ones. went first through sixth gear till it wound out in sixth. killed the motor pulled the plugs out put old ones back in went home chopped plugs. there were no silver specs. what would that mean if i had silver specs.

Did a WOT plug chop which says ive got detonation. thats going by the diagram i found on the internet

I,ve been going to our local snowmobile shop, for main jets. They had jets from size 150 to 750 for 2.50 a piece. I guess that depends on were you live. If u dont get any snow around ther then your not gonna have a snowmobile shop

I have a 96 shee with pro circuit pipes, pro design filter, boyesen rad valves, running stock carbs with 360 mains, 30 pilots, needle clip 1 position higher, no snorkel, two 1 inch square holes cut in the top of the air box lid, no tors. It wants to cut out at high rpms. I live in northwest ohio, so there is not an elevation issue. I tried adjusting the air screw , no luck. then I took off the air lid and it ran great. Is this the right fix or do i need to try something else.
