Im looking to get my engine done in a couple months. I was going to sell my banshee for a yfz but I decided against it. I know ill regret it. Im looking for and engine kit/port work for riding in the dunes that will give me a lot of useable power and still be able to hang with some people at the hill. I have the Trinity 2-1 with 35mm carb and I want to stay with that if I can. Im looking to spend between 1500-2000 for the work. Any suggestions?

I have some Elka shocks on my bike and I ordered their shockwears to use. But when I go riding they bunch up and they get in between the smaller spring. What if I just take them off, would that be a bad idea? Anybody run with their shocks uncovered. I just want to know if they'll be aright. I ride 100% sand.
