here is my old setup, didnt really do much mx but it was built similer to mx style Since i went with a cub setup i decided to get rid of the -2 and go to a +2 swinger, i know im going to miss the handling. Here is what it looks like now

i got a lonestar anti-vibe stem, lonestar axle, trailtech bars, ac blackline nerfs. I got a different frame that i lightened a little and that is off for powder right now. Im doing everything in candy red this time. Im also getting new wheels, tires and im trying to get some elka suspension. I also got rid of my -2 swinger and got a plus 2 because im now running a 4 mil cub.

Hey odaen is that tool i need only avaliable through yamaha or can i get it online somewhere. I went to the dealership to try and buy it, but they didnt know what i was talking about and could not find it for me. I found this on snapon and i was wandering if this could be the same tool.

I want to have my a-arms powder coated but im not sure how to remove the ball joints. Just wandering if anyone knows what kind of tool i need and where i can find it. I dont have any pics so i have included a picture of Slayer1018's bike to show what im talking about.

Im a ups driver and gamestop is on my route. When i was delivering to them in the morning last week i saw a line in front of the store and found out it was just to reserve the system. Knowing how hard its going to be to get this christmas, i put 100 down and got my name first on the list. Ive already seen some reserves go for 1600 on ebay so thats where ill be putting mine.

Just wandering if anyone knows of any good powder coaters in south jersey. Last time i got some stuff powder coated i went to east coast atv but i was trying to find something a little closer

Yea jeff you pretty much set me up with the perfect jetting from the start. i really just cleaned the carbs, installed a pingel and gutted out my gas cap and this thing was running great. I also ran the 170, which seemed like you were kind of leaning toward that jet from the begining anyway. Thanks for the help.

I finally got this thing running perfect but the jetting isnt really much different from what i started with. I went up to a 170 main, kept the 48 pilot and cel needle in the middle. i cleaned the carbs and installed a pingel valve and this thing was flying. i took it out to my riding spot and there wasnt anyone that could come close to me. The fastest bike out there until i got there was a quadzilla with some work and i beat him by about 7 bikes. Thanks Jeff for an awsome motor.

i was just on cascades site and noticed they are selling a pre-jetted 2 into 1 38mm pwk carb kit for a 4mill cub that they dynoed in at 101 hp and 54lbs of torque with instant throttle responce and a wide power band. Having one carb just seems like it would be alot nicer to have without the cluster of having the pipes and airfilters on top of each other. The numbers seem pretty good but i know how everyone says how much the cub motors like fuel. Whats everyones opinion on this setup? How do you think the throttle responce and power would compare to running two 35mm pwk carbs?

thanks for all the replys, i order some mains and pilots and will mess around with it this weekend. Pest when you say you moved the clip to the fourth position, is that from the pointed end?

Im running small bore shearers on a 4mil cub with 19 cc domes and i also run vp c12 if that matters and i am also at sea level.

Actually i thought it was running a little lean on top because after running WOT in 5th gear, because i didnt have enough room to make it to 6th, the plug was a little on the lighter side and the motor seemed to have a slight crackeling sound when i had it wide open. The bike never really sputters, it runs really strong, its just every once and a while it just cuts out for a second and its never while holding it wide open, it only happens when getting back on the gas after a shift. Thanks for all the input.

Yea i was going to give him a call on monday, i just wanted to see if anyone on here had any idea of what might cause this.

I recently got my cub motor running that i bought from jeff over at fast and this thing really flys. He set me up with 168 mains, 48 pilots with cel needles for my 35 mm pwk's and it seems to be running perfect but every now and then in the middle of running wide open the motor will just cut out for a second or two and just come right back running great again. I cant figure out what would be causing this because the motor seems to be running so good. Do i need to upgrade my pingle valve for better fuel flow? One of the carbs also seems to leak a little from the over flow tube comming off the bowl, i wasnt sure if this might have something to do with it too. Any ideas of what might be causing this?

i have been wanting to ride in manchester for a while now, it seems like every atv forum has a topic on this place. I live right off of rt 73 in berlin, im guessing about an hour away. I just bought a cub setup from FAST and i havent jetted the carbs yet but if i can get my hands on all the jets and needles i need to tune my carbs by this weekend i would like to try and make it. Are you guys there every weekend? If i cant make it this weekend i should have the motor tuned by next week. Anyone you guys ride with runnin cubs, im still tryin to figure out what jets and needles to run in my 35mm pwks. -

I just picked up a 68mm cub 4mm stroker setup and i was wandering if anyone could help me out with the jetting. I have a set of 35mm pwk carbs that currently have 68 pilots 160 mains and dgk needles. i have 19 cc domes and will be running it at sea level on 110 octan race fuel. I also have delta force 2 reeds. One other question i had is how do you properly torque down the cylinders since there is no room for a torque wrench on the front studs? Do i just use a reguler wrench and go by feel?
