i bought the star from boonman which modded it , was a brand new star modded, it did shift better i grant u that but it alos cause slippage and let the star sit on top of roller which makes it miss gears specially under acceleration

hey eveyrbody i put modded shift star on fe wweeks ago and seemed great and everything , but i raced it 2 weekends ago and i posted a shfiting problem on here bout me gettin stuck between gears like a neutral!! well i pulled motor and split cases and put all new forks in and rods and put back on and replaced shaft assembly and i got it all ready and i played with it right before i put case back on, i was turning clutch and going through gears and i noticed my problem right there, was still gettin stuck between gears!!! whats happeneing is on the modded shift star with the points grinded down and u know there is a roller below the shift star or dont actually roll but looks like one!!! when changin gears the shift star stops on top of the roller when the roller is actually suppose to be between the teeth on the star right? me and my mechanic helping me think the star is causing this because with the stock star the points on it are not wide at all and the points have no chance of sittin on the roller which is a neutral between gears!!! i hope this makes sense to youy guys, i have yet tried the stock start un modded back yet but i think this will solve it i hope, if any of you have encountered this fill me in please thanks

hey does anybody know what would be the best pipe for the dvx 400 i have a friend that is racing with me flat trackin and needs a good pipe but wants best out for it?

hey fixitrod i didnt know you was talkin about that but anyways i tore it apart and i ordered all three shift forks wit rods and i ordered new shift shaft and assembly which coems with the fork u speak of an di have a brand new star modded from boonman!! so hopefully this will work, if not u have any other suggestions? thanx for ur help

hey everybody i just broke my cases apart and inspected my forsk and gears and everything looks pretty damn good in there, there is one fork wit a very slight wear thayt u can see and one gear is diff color than rest so im going to replace them just because im in there!!, but most of all it looks good in there so now what could i do to fix my problem?

hey i am wanting to put a 420 powevalve on my shee wit a 4 mil stroker i think to flat track with, i wondering what u guys think about it and would it be good? alos who would be the best builder for this to make the baddest shee on the track? also what carbs would u reccomend to put with the powervalve

hey i have a new hinson clutch basket in it and i added the shift star mod before this years first race which was april 9th, i had been running the wrong oil last year it was bel ray gear saver hypoid oil 85 wt and i found out i was stupid for not seeing transmission on it but i wasnt thinking so i drained it all out and went to my local dealer and got some maxima mtl 80wt and thats what i have in it right now not even a weak old so it is very fresh only has 1 hour on it!! i know shiftin forks are alot of work to replace but ill do it if its it!!

hey i just got done racing tonight and im having a problrem thats costin me alot of time!!! first off when im sittin still wit clutch fully in the bike wants to take off a little bit, and i cant adjust it out for some reason!! i have a magura hydro clutch, barnett clutch kit and hinson basket and everything else is stock!! my other problem is ill be racing my bike and ill be in like 3 gear going to 4th or 4th going to 5th and the thing its like it hits neutral and i have to shift up again and finally it will kick in gear and go? what are my problems i really need some help this is costin me big time, i had them probs and still wasa gettin some 450s asses i loved it!!

hey a friend has this blaster and the jettin is pretty close i got it running real good but i cant get the thing ot idle and im not a expert on jettin but im pretty good i think the pilot is too small but im not sure? i tried to adjust the idle knob but doesnt even phase it and id like to get it to idle, what do i need to do? mid and top and low runs good but you have to feather throttle to keep running when idling? thankx for any help

hey i installed a degree key on a friends blaster and man that thign wasant like the shee it didnt wanna come out, once i finally got it out , the new one didnt wanna fit either, so i tapped in it until i thought it was good and put the flywheel back on and it started and sounded good? would it have started if put in wrong? what happens if its messed up in there?

hey rebuilt my motor this summer and i am puttin my stuff back together and i bought some cascade exhaust clamps and i went to put my stuff back together and them mofos are a bitchhh!! are yalls like them too? so hard to put on right? and one more question i have been arguing wit my mechanic over , you know when u slide the silencer over the pipe does it suppose to go all the way on and till no further or do you stop it and make it where the connection is center in the clammp?

ill trade u a set of Mikuni flat side 28mm for em!! wit a lil boot if neccessary, what kind of carbs are they again keihn? i havent ever saw any 30 keighns? will they fit stock boots?

hey i know this aint a blaster site and i dont usually ask bout blasters but i got a friend im helping out cuz i told him u guys helped me alot!! he has a blaster that has been ported and has a fmf pipe, boyesen reeeds, and a 34mm pj carb and i had this k and n on it but it has been on there for like 4 years and i want one just like it but cant find one ? all it is, is a round straight clamp on with a elbow at the front !! how do i find this k and n again??? also i need a tie rod end for a stock blaster if anybody has one let me know or knows where to get one?

hey i have apiar of brand new racing boots ive had for 2 years and when i put on 2 year ago i went out on the track to start the race and i couldnt shift my 4 wheeler becasue i couldnt move my ankle, how the hek can i breK THESE THINGS IN!! ha they are useless if i cnt shift??

hey im wondering about my crank, i ace flat track and i have bout every bolt on u can get, and im wondering is my crank goin to break? i dont know how much horses i have but im decent in HP, i hear of people true and weldin theres? how do you do that and what does it do ? i am illiterate to cranks so fill me in please thanks

hey what are thebest pipes for the blaster i have a buddy who wants some and i told him id check and see what everybody is running, he wants to race flat track with me and wants me to help set his blaster up,? the blaster used to be mine i sent the motor to trinity and i put fmf pipe on it with 34mm pj carb wit k and n and thats all thats done on it!

hey does anybody have the cascade clamps, and are they any good, i hope so i just ordered a pair i was debatin between the tm and cascade i just couldnt talk myself into goint with a clamp i could not tighten manually depending on o-ring???/

i have my stock chain still on and its wore out and i am thinkin bout puttin a did x ring on because they say it has less friction than o-ring any of you guys have x ring chains?

hey im thinking bout getting the g-force axle and i wanna know from you guys who know can you keep the stock width with this axle or is it just +2 or +4???? and another question i bought the best durablue last year for the shee and i have no cluew what was up but it would not equal out on both sides, one side always was offset more than the other and this sucked becaus ei race flat track!!! all im going to do with this axle is flat track and all i will need is stock width and maybe the +2 sometimes , just fill me in please thanks!!

has anybody tried the g-force axle i saw in rocky mountain atv for like 200 bucks and adjustable, looks good!!! i need one and really dont wanna spend all that money for lsr
