im in Northeast PA at about 1000ft above sea level i have the NOSS head with 20cc's on the weeks i get paid i run straight race fuel 112 octane the next week i run half/half 94/112 i dont notice to much of a difference between the two it might just be in my head what i do feel. 2 weeks ago we were in West Virginia ridin im not sure of the elevation but i had to stop for pump gas and the highest they had was 92 it was really down on power then if you can get some 94 then go half/half with the 20cc's if you cant get 94 use a little more race fuel in the mix thats what works best for me. ITS FAST

your right about the racing i am running mx and i practiced sat. with no fronts and it wasnt fun. the first thing i checked for was leaks and didnt find any then i filled the res. up as high as i could before i bled them. no air and closed it back up dried everything off and still nothin they dont get any better if i pump it either. i would hope i dont need a new master the quad is a 2003 i love my front brakes i'de rather have fronts than backs. if anybody has a front master for sale let me know

i was goofin around on my shee the other day doin doughnuts and comin out of them in a wheelie and the one time i got goin a little too fast and when i pulled back to pick it up it came up on the right rear wheel only i came off the seat but held on to her as it came up on one wheel i heard a BANG (i think it may have been the nerf bar smackin off the ground i jumped back on the seat on my knee and got her set down and grabbed the front brakes to stop then when i started to go again i had hardly any front brake. i tried bleedin them, still nothin, i tried cleanin the caliper slides still nothin. im racin this weekend and i would kinda like to have front brakes any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanx

zR2 replied to banshee_boy2007's topic in General Banshee Discussion
i too was looking into the A-T steelers and would appreciate some info on them. what would happen if i got the shocks setup for +2+1 arms and put them on with my stock arms untill i got ext. arms? and are they worth the $$$ or should i just save a little more and get elkas? -
im lookin to get into mx racing this summer i visited a local track this past sat. to get an idea if i feel i can do it or not. I feel that i would be very competitive allready. what i need help with is getting involved in it. any input is welcome from anybody but if there are any district 6 guys out there that would be great as that is where i'll be racing. i need to know what classes they run and where would be the best to start. and what i need as far as rider and machine equipment. and any input on the way tracks run the event and when to arrive and stuff like that. I allready have my AMA and District 6 cards, nerf bars and a tether switch. what do i need as far as number plates and stuff. i really wanna do this so any expeeienced riders out there your input would be extremely appreciated

i've seen many people talking about drillin their rear axle carrier and puttin in a zerk fitting but what type of greae are oyu guys using in there. I work at a garage and our oil company just sent down some new synthetic wheel bearing grease. This stuff is so thin that to pack a bearing all ya have to do is dip it in this stuff pretty much and it coats incrediably well. Its almost like a very heavy oil. When we do the bearings in trailers with this stuff we fill the carrier with this and then put our seals in. The reccomended miles before changing or repacking 100,000miles. I was just wonderin if anybody has tryed this on a quad as soon as i replace my bearings i am gonna try it hopefully it will make the bearings last alot longer. Any opinions

check out the web site www.flyingdutchmenmc.net they have all the info there. there was actually one today 3/21/04 but i dint make it next weekend there is one there again as long as the weather permits i will definatly be there you can get your district 6 card at the track the quads went out last time at 2:15 but i would advise getting there early as parking can get tough. its a blast and i cant wait to get back there let me know whos goin and maybe we could meet up or somethin

its all gonna depend on your elevation above sea level b/c of thew denseness of the air. I had T5s on my old she and i had 280mains 27.5pilots toomey needles i believe on the fourth clik and air screws about 1.5 turns out full fully in thats at baout 1000 ft abve sea level. go to www.toomeyracing.com for more details i think thats the sight

i picked up a degree key for my shee the other day and i never looked at it before i left the store. when i got home and opened it i noticed it said 7* on it i only wanted a 4* i have fmf pipes on it and i run 112 octane other than that its stock yet will 7* be too much am i gonna hurt the engine or have it not reliable? if its not a good idea for me if anybody is interested in it let me know
