  1. Thanks for the link. That was great.
  2. Anyone know a good source to find out all Banshee's bolts and nuts sizes and length. I checked with manual, it only has sizes not length of the bolts. Thank you very much.
  3. I am rebuilding a 1988 Banshee with some 1990s parts. I took eveything apart except I forgot to keep half of the bolts and nuts. I read the manual and it only has bolts and nuts sizes but not length. Anyone know a website or manual that will indicate both banshee's bolts and nuts sizes and length? I know I can go to dealer but they are too expensive. Thanks for your help.

  5. I switched from a 30 pilot jet to a 27.5 pilot jet and spark plug is not wet anymore. Although spark plug still look little bit black but I can kick start very easy now. It runs great in low speed and high speed with 27.5 pilot jet. Thanks for the information.
  6. Thanks for all your quick responses. This is a great forum for Banshee riders. I use 40:1 mix right now. If I switch to 32:1 mix, is that gonna be even richer. To banshee_rider95, my banshee runs great in all speed. how do you move needles down 1 clip? Do you mean Idel ajustments?
  7. Hi Everyone, I have a 1990 Banshee with Stock engine FMF pipe, K&N filter and FMF reed valve. Everytime I come back from riding for few hours, the new spark plug becomes black and little bit wet. I had to change spark plug every few hours so I don't have problem getting it to kick start. I use NGK B8ES and 26mm carbs with 300 main jet, 30 pilot jet, 2 turn out air jet. I use Motul 800 systhtic oil mixed 40:1. I run my banshee 1000-2000 above sea level. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help and Happy Thanksgiving.
  8. Thanks you all. I will rebuild the top end. Everytime I check my spark plug, it is dark and wet. What could cause my banshee running rich? Here is my Carb info: 40:1 sythtic oil mix 320 main jet 30 pilot jet 1 1/2 turn air screw out from snug K&N filters
  9. I am sorry about the compression number. It read 55lb per square inch or 4 kpax100 on the compression tester for both cylinders. I hope that makes more sense. I used the automobile compression gauge for the compression test. I left one spark plug in cylinder and pluged compression gauge into other and kick around 10-15 time and compression gauge went all the way up to 55lb per square inch. I follow the same procedure for the other cylinder. Thanks for all your help.
  10. Thanks for the speedy reply. I checked the compression on both cylinders and they both read between 50psi to 55psi. I think the jet size is stock size. What jet size would you recommand for a banshee has only FMF pipe and reed valve added? I run banshee at about 1000-3000 feet above sea level. One thing I am sure of is I can kick start it whether is cold or hot after I took carbs apart and cleaned it. But after 1 or 2 hrs of running then I start to having trouble kick start it. Thank you very much for your time.
  11. I have a 1990 stock banshee with FMF gold series pipes and a aftermarket reed valve. It runs great in all gears except I always have problem getting it to kick start. 8 out 10 time I can't kick start it, but I can start it with a little push. And spark plug is always wet when I inspect them. I clean the spark plugs then I can kick start it. I check all the hoses around the carbs and they are in the right places and connected. I belive the Carbs are stock. Do I need to rebuild the carb? if yes, what should I change? THANK YOU.
