  2. One of the mounting brackets for my rear fenders broke off and I have no idea where it is. Does anyone sell anything like this? (It is the straight bracket not the one with the 90
  3. Thanks for the comments guys, ttt
  4. I am selling my 03 Banshee. Mods done are Toomey T5 Pipes, Aktive Reeds, K&N Filter, EHS Air Box Lid and Yamaha Shock Covers. The Razr tires in the pics arent on there anymore, it now has stock raptor tires. Hardly ever ridden. Moved to Vegas almost 2 years ago and the banshee is still at my parents house back in Iowa. Ridden maybe 3 times since I moved down here. Even though I live in Vegas, it will be coming from Iowa so keep that in mind. I am looking for $4000. Everything is perfect on this. Still have all the stock parts and tires that will come with it.
  5. Eitherway, you still wont be able to beat me.
  6. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
  7. Dont remember the last time my banshee was well over 100mph, lol.
  8. I just bought a box of plugs today and did the plug test again. My main seems ok, but im afraid it is right on the edge so im gonna step up to a 340 just to make sure. The needle on the other hand looks and feels lean....WHOOPS! Anyway im think im gonna try the 5th and final clip and hope it works cuz I dont want to buy new needles. I'll keep you all posted, and thanks for the help everyone.
  9. Onekyoung, I primarily ride underneath the south omaha bridge. Where do you ride?
  10. Sweet, I live in Glenwood, just south of Council Bluffs, I actually work in Omaha. But Im glad that my plugs seem ok, but what the heck is going on with the gas out the over flows. Actually, maybe im just an idiot. I better go check to see if they are tight.
  11. Hello everyone. Sorry for posting here but I have been reading this forum for day and even checked out the Jetting FAQ and I can't seem to get my jetting right. Last weekend I installed a K&N filter, an EHS racing air box lid, Aktive reeds, and Toomey T-5 pipes. Right now I have 320 jets, and the needle is in the second clip. The pilots are stock. The location is Iowa and it is 60-70 degrees outside. I can feel a little hesitation in lower rpms and some of the middle rpms but it seems to run harder than it ever has before at high rpms. Anyway I pulled into my driveway and noticed there was gas coming out the carb overflows. I doesnt do it when its sitting only when it runs. So I figured I might be running extremly rich. So I pulled the plugs and they are dry and light brown, almost a burnt look. So that makes me think its lean. What the heck am I doing here?
  12. You are all awsome! I pulled the air cleaner off today and the right slide was stuck wide open. I figured that is why the throttle override wasnt giving spark either. But anyway, I pulled the carb apart, fixed the slide and plugged TORS back in and I finally got it started again. I would like to thank everyone for the help, THANKS
  13. I unplugged that little black box on the left side, that is the only thing I unplugged.
  14. Yes I did :-)
  15. OK, here is another update. I left the fuel cock off, choke open, and i held the throttle wide open to try to empty the carbs and it fired up. I let off the throttle, it stayed wide open, then died. Now it wont start again.
  16. By the way, anyone wanna buy this dang thing from me because i bought it new and i have been workin on it more than i have riddin it.
  17. Just an update, I just went outside to look at the banshee and I left the fuel cock on. Just from sitting overnite, there is a huge puddle of fuel underneath and it looks like it came out of the carb drain tubes.
  18. Hello everyone, I have another problem again. Last week the Banshee would not start. I tried many times but could not get it to run. This weekend i finally checked for spark and found I had none. I bought new plugs and checked again and still had none. So I decided to unplug the TORS box and then I found that I again had spark. But now I still cant get it started. I really never messed with anything, and i did cut any wires, just unplugged the TORS box. I don't know if it is really flooded bad or what. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  19. Where is the main pilot jet on a banshee, and how do I take it apart. Thanks, Andrew
  20. Thanks everyone, Today i pulled the carb and cleaned everything although I didnt see anything plugged. It runs fine again, so I have no idea what the problem is. I appreciate everyones help. Thanks, Andrew
  21. Actually now that you mention it, when there is no smoke coming out of the one side, it still feels like there is air coming out.
  22. Alright, I can try that. But before I do, could it possible be an air leak? There is a hissing sound when I stick my head by the running motor, although I've listened for funny sounds before, so maybe thats just normal.
  23. It actually rode pretty well, even when it backfired, it hit the powerband hard as usual, and took off like a rocket. The side that the kick starter is on is the cylinder that seems to be working poorly (less smoke).
  24. Hello everyone, First off lemme get the basics out of the way. I have a 2003 Banshee and everything is stock. Since it is winter time, I just rejetted the carbs with #220 jets and set the pilot air screws to 1 1/2 turns. When I did this, I made sure to keep the left side parts and the right side parts separate so they didn't get mixed up. I just went outside and fired it up, and one cylinder is noticably producing more smoke than the other cylinder. But I warmed it up anyway and once warmed up one cylinder was still working more than the other. Also, on the trip back it back fired at about half throttle twice. I am assuming I screwed something up somewhere because the plugs only have about 3 hours on them so I doubt they are fouled. Any help would be appreciated. Thank, Andrew
