I have a 2002 black and white shee all stock except for the dg nerf bars steel series. Starts on the first kick. I have a 2000 that I love and the wife says one has to go. $3200.00 This quad is located in Michigan and I never shipped something this big, but could learn how! Rt rear fender had a crack, but has been repaired approx 4 inches long, but is just as strong as new. Shoot me a pm if your interested in pictures. The motor does not rev up freely. When I accelerate slowly in second it seems to be fine, and when I give it, its more like a chatter or clunk, and does not accelerate very well. Does this help you? Also people are talking about the gear fork. Is this an easier fix than splitting the case to replace gears?

also when I purchased the banshee the o ring was leaking antifreeze into the crankcase. Would that cause the clutch to go bad or to slip?

Every gear runs smooth but second gear feels like it's slipping under heavy acceleration. I don't know too much and the guy I bought it from said the shifting star is worn , and the local shop says it's probably a bad second gear.... So I thought I would ask the experts! Please help!!!
