Hell i jus took the axle nuts loose and mine slid right out....but mine was pretty new when i changed it................

i have an 03 shee with around 15 hours max on it and about 2 weeks ago i was riding and i heard some strange sounds so i stopped and it locked up, well come to find out the piston skirt broke up and locked it up. I took it in to my local dealership and they turned right around and told me it was my fault that the skirt broke because sand got into the motor and wore the cylinder out so bad that it starting slapping around, but i got to look at the damage and what was funny is the the piston had a little scaring on it but the cylinder looked clean, no visible scrapes, nothing at all to the naked eye anywayz...they said i didnt have oil on my air filter, which i did cause i had jus check it about a 4 days before that and i didnt even ride it till the day it broke and the filter was fine.....so was it my fault, or faulty piston??? lemme know

im needing to buy a new crankshaft and ive found a few at a decent price but what are some good crankshafts for under 400 bucks, any ideas???

Oh screw the dealership i had it out with them this morning...i have a buddy who races motoX and hes a wiz with 2 strokes, and luckily hes a good friend of mine so alls i gotta do is pay for parts...

Can anyone out there give me the mic specs for a banshee on the cylinder and the piston and the tolerances??? so i can go in the stealership and kick some ass and Make them fix my 4 wheeler...

Hell yea its under warranty, but the thing was the cylinder walls werent scratched or fucked up at all which was wierd.....like i thought they would be, and the crank was ok cause i went in the back and check it all myself, and i was running aviation fuel....no cheap shit in my shee, and it only had maybe 20-25 hours on it at the most....

I have an 03 shee and today i found out a piece of my f*ck*@! piston broke off and locked up the bottom end and my local yamaha dealer says it was because of sand(BULLSHIT) cause there wasnt any sand to be in the motor itself...anywayz...my shee is all stock and im thinking of boring it over .020 jus wondering what i would have to do to accompany that, like change the jets? intake? im open for discussion

See thats what im guessing happened, the crack jus went to shit but the noise jus didnt seem loud enough to be that...and i thought that the back tires would have locked up if the crack would have snapped, well maybe, maybe not....

well i got warranty on it so i took it in and let them check it out im jus getting ideas on what it could be in case they try and f*** me and not warranty it

so when that happened to yours could you still move the gear shifter like put it in nuetral?

i was riding my shee the other day and its only a month old and i heard it making a clinging noise so i slowed down and stopped and the motor died and i went to kick it and the kick start woudlnt move at all and i cant think of what could have happened. Any ideas????

i read in here not too long ago about someone putting a CR500 motor in a shee, and i cant find it again but i need all the help i can get, if anyone knows anything about this please feed me some info on what all mods ill have to do to the frame and what all do i need to do it...thanx
