  1. I think ill just stick to going down to my local yamaha shop. LoL atleast there i can see what im getting and know that its not a ripoff. granted ill probably pay out the wazoo for it....but oh well.
  2. Good question on only doing one side...who knows me and my father was doing the work on it....and the piston kit did come with 2...but sounds like ill be redoing it anyway...and go ahead and have it bored out. thanks for the help everyone. luckily i can still ride the raptor til i get the banshee back together.
  3. OK then that is not what i wanted to hear. LoL Its just wierd how once I hit powerband it will run right though.
  4. LoL your right i am getting around 110 - 130 psi. for some reason i remembered the inside number and not psi. the right side is around 105 - 110 and the left side is 120 - 130.
  5. yes that rattling is really starting to annoy me too...think i will have to change the o-ring out. at one time the kick starter was really hard to get out so i added some wd-40. but yes while it fixed my problem it made that rattling alot louder. Note To Self: No more WD-40 on Kick Starter. LoL
  6. yes i have done a compression test and i get 7.2 on the left and 6.5 on the right. the right side is the piston i replaced.
  7. If there are any riders in the DFW area that would like to get together and go ride sometime, look me up. I ride an 02 Banshee. My father rides an 02 Raptor. It would be fun to meet up and go ride. rich@infinitylight.com
  8. yeah i always notice a huge difference on plugs. i always try keeping an extra set or two with me at all times. not that it would have helped in your situation much. sorry to hear about the engine though.
  9. Alright here goes. Last month i had to put in a new piston since i burned one up. and now after getting everything back together, i have last all power until i hit the power band. If im in thick sand or mud, it will never reach power band. Any help with this is appreciated. Thanks
