  1. by the air leak test, do you mean spray some wd-40 around the motor to see if the rpm's go up? I did do that and the rpm's chaned slightly, when I sprayed around the boost bottle (I know, I know boost bottles aren't cool, it was on there when I met her) but I don't see how that could be leaking  and the carbs seem to be seated fine. but then again, I suck w/ carbs  . anyone in socal wanna play with some carbs for a complementary 20 pack :)

disclaimer:: not just anyone! has to have carburator system experience. oh...and should be atleast 21, unless you want a 20 pack of pepsi :P

  2. Ok, as some of you know, I ride bikes, but I also have my girlfriends banshee to take care of....so I just recently got done doing a facelift on the banshee.... new plastics, graphics, torch lights, nerf bars, bumper, grab bar...and bunch of other little things.

the bike ran fine before I pulled everything apart. the only motor stuff I messed with was..cleaning the filter, taking off the carbs and pulling out the stock reed cages, just to check the reeds, and then everything went back on. I replaced the gaskets for the reed cages, since I pilled them off.

now the bike rev's kinda funny. it rev's up fine, but when the rpm's are coming down, it just lags in spurts. sounds kinda like an air leak, but I don't know what could possibly be leaking. some people said the floats could be stuck....I dont know. help me o' wise ones :)

  3. have my old front and back fenders, they are white; the fronts are cut and they have your average scufs on them. no cracks! . also have the stock rear grab bar, front bumper, and heel gaurds. also, red radiator cover (very good condition). & red/black factory seat cover.

will sell everything for $120. need to get this stuff out of the garage.

    part out:

    rad cover: $15

    front & back fenders: $65

.........make offers for the other stuff

split shipping or pickup in socal area.

  4. PS2! when I broke my humerus (upper arm) I beat vice city, the getaway, max payne, & played a buch of atv offroad fury 2.

and A bunch of other games that I cant remember too well due to the VIKADIN! (that how you spell it?). and I had my girlfriend do everything for me ;) . oh yeah, watched a bunch of dvd's.

I was out of work for like 4 mos, then after surgery for another month. I have 6 screws, one 10" titanium plate, and had 40 staples B) . beat that! lol.

  5. I've had mine since I was 3... & now pushing the old age of 21, so 18 years? I dont mind them. I acctually chose to keep them over the lasik surgery cause I feel kinda naked w/ out my specs. my mom worked at laser eye center here in california, and I could have gotten the surgeryy done for free, but I didn't. my brother got it done and his vision is really good. anyway I got the black flys 9000's (sunglasses) and had them pop out the lenses and make the my perscription glasses B) .

  6. 2000 gmc 1500 extra cab, 9" suspension lift, 3" body, 36" swampers on 16" welds. 4:56 gears, flowmaster, k&n intake, headers, programmed cpu, all the billet goodies, 2 10" jl w3's, all mb quart highs, ppi amps, in dash dvd.

2003 lexus IS300 sport edition, tinted, 17" wheels (my girlfriends car, but pretty much mine too :D )

1987 mercedes 420sel, chromed out 16" wheels (wide), all the options. (this is my "pimp juice" ride

2000 kawasaki ninja, stock, sits in the garage.

trailers: my friend is a manager of a trailer store, so I get the pick of anything from a small utility trailer to a 40' fifth wheel w/ full living quarters B) . I usually take a 24' toy hauler.

  7. exnay on the 80 ;) , unless you weigh less than a hunded pounds! I had a 97 rm125 and that bike was sweeet, I still miss it even though I have an 03 cr250. the only thing that I never liked about the suzuki was the clutch (it doesn't really engage too well) so as soon as you pop it into gear your gone! didn't bother me too much, I just put in a hinson clutch basket to toughen it up. another thing about the 98 & older rm's is the conventional forks, they work fine though (had mine done by PC)..... a couple friends of mine had the yz125 and they were really nice too. one thing I just really like about honda is the aluminum frame (they just look good) thats the only reason I picked my cr250 over the yz250. you can't go wrong with either motor.

if you got some spare change.. you should look into the yzf250, or crf250, those are nice bikes! 4 strokes that run the 125 class. I think kawi & suzuki make some too.
