  1. i think its about time to ride

  2. you might or might not have a bad compression tester, ask one of your friends or someone that has one and you can see if it is accurate or way off to what yours shows
  3. yeah 100 psi is pretty low i have a 95 shee and it read 120 psi in each cylinder after 14 years on the stock pistons before i rebuilt it, im at the same elevation as you to, a cool head is definately the way to go, i love my noss head.
  4. I am currently helping a friend assembly his motor, he has a moose head gasket, but it has no markings on which side goes up or down, i dont want to install it upside down, there is a raised side and a indented side. any help much appreciated.
  5. I AM LOOKING FOR SOME STOCK HEADLIGHTS FOR MY 95 SHEE, OR JUST THE GLASS LENSES MINE GOT SHATTERED BY ROCKS  MIKE
  6. YOU DONT HAVE TO BASH EACH OTHER, NEITHER OF YOU REALLY KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT ME, ALL I CAN SAY IS IVE BEEN IN AND ON ALOT OF FAST THINGS, IVE RIDIN CROTCHROCKETS BEFORE NEVER OWNED ONE, MY DAD HAS BOATS THAT WILL DO 130+ ON WATER, IVE BEEN IN 10 SEC. DRAG CARS AND I HAVE A 383 STROKER THAT I AND PAPA_SMURF BUILT IN A HEAVY ASS TRUCK AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM, NOT SCARRED OF GOING WELL OVER 100MPH IN IT, IM NOT TRYING TO BRAG AT ALL, BUT I APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR POSTS AND COMMENTS, IF I PUT IN A CROTCH ROCKET MOTOR IN MY SHEE AND IT SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME THEN IM DOIN SOMETHING RIGHT, THATS HOW I THINK OF IT. THANKS MIKE
  7. THANKS FOR POSTING INFERNO, MAYBE ILL DO A LITTLE MORE RESEARCH ON THE BIKE MOTORS, IF YOU HAD TO PICK A GOOD MOTOR TO THROW IN ONE WOULD IT BE, AND WOULD YOU GET A NEWER FUEL INJECTED ONE OR AN OLD CARBURETED ONE .
  8. AFTER ACTUALLY THINKING ABOUT IT BEST BET FOR ME, WOULD BE TO GO WITH A CUB, LESS WEIGHT, MORE CLEARANCE, NO FABRICATION, AND IT WOULD BE A HELL OF A LOT FASTER THAN MY STOCK MOTOR, PLUS I DONT HAVE TO SEARCH AROUND FOR A SMASHED BIKE THAT WOULD HOPEFULLY HAVE A GOOD MOTOR AND THAT DOESNT HAVE 10000 PLUS MILES, AND HAVE ALL THE ELECTRICAL ATTACHED. MIKE
  9. AS FAR AS THE POWER OF WHAT EVER I BUILD, IF IT IS SCARY THAN I DID A GOOD JOB, I AM ALWAYS LOOKING TO GO FASTER AS ANYONE, I HAVE NOT RIDIN A 4 MIL SHEE OR A STOCK PIPED BANSHEE AT THAT, BUT I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN INTO SPEED, I DO ALOT OF OPEN TRAIL RIDING AND WILL DRAG ANYONE THAT WANTS TOO, ALTHOUGH MOST PEOPLE ARE SCARED OF THE OLD DINOSAUR, EVEN THOUGH IT IS 15 YEARS OLD. I JUST DONT WANT TO HAVE TO REBUILD IT EVERY COUPLE YEARS, AND I GOT LUCKY ON MY STOCK MOTOR NEVER REBUILT AT ALL HOLDS GREAT COMPRESSION, NO LEAKS RIPS FOR A STOCK SHEE BUT IM WORRIED THAT MY LUCK MIGHT RUN OUT AND SHE GOES BOOM AND CRACKS A CASE OR SOMETHING. MIKE
  10. Thanks for the info, i almost purchased one yesterday but im glad i waited on your info, i was looking on herr jugs racing and they're 4 mil was $1,625, 90hp, do you think that and a set of cpi inframes would be better, and also do you guys get larger sprockets when you mod this much because i was thinking that i would run out gear very quick.
  11. BUMP FOR INFO NEEDED FAST  Looking to buy one today!
  12. Just curious on how much more weight a rocket motor would add to the banshee. Im thinking about throwing a crotch rocket motor and my banshee and want to know any tips, and suggestions from the guys who have done it before. It doesnt nessceasrly have to be a r6 motor either. Thanks Mike
