Your talking about Belray H1R right? If so Belray say's to run it at 50:1,so your running it a little rich.

That's what I did.

We got a brand new 05 Silverado LS today.  I'll get some pics up pretty soon.  We got it for 14500 out the door, we traded the sierra in for 8k, so it was a pretty good deal.  I'd like to put an exhaust system on it, but I don't know what to get.  I want something stupidly loud.  any suggestions?

Did you make sure your new reeds seat around the cages OK ? Even tho they were new reeds if the petals are warped or rasied from the cage,starting will be a bitch.

Yeah...moving the clip up will allow the needle to seat further down making it leaner as apposed to lowering the clip raising the needle making it richer.

Even when a head is milled ,the piston should NEVER hit the head.Post some pics so we can have a better idea of the problem.
