  1. I might do some riding on it, but it will be mostly trails and no real hard mudding or sort.
  2. I think my engine for now is ok compared to whats running here, just can't keep it on the ground, I did notice what you all were talking about with the longer gearing, B/C in the 1/8 mile I am in 4 th gear getting redy for 5 th gear at the finish line. It pulls the gears now pretty good, I will try the 13/41 set up in the 1/8 to see how if does, I haven't tried it in the 1/4 but I bet its got a good MPH.
  3. 2003 DODGE Ram quad cab, flame red and kickin botty!
  4. With his 120 mph shee he can snow plow the drive in 2 minutes flat!
  5. I've been playing with my banshee here lately and trying to go to a semi drag bike, almost ready to do it all drag and buy another shee for the trail. Here is my current senario........1998 banshee, bored.30 over, 4 degree key, fmf pipes, carb is jetted properly to the pipe and K & N filter with out lid, reeds, boost bottle (?), and some mild porting and polishing. Running 18/41 sprockets. Problem arrises here, on dirt (with 20 inch shredders in good tread) all I can do is spin, will not hook up at all, on pavement all it does is hook up, hooks way to much, can't keep the front end down in 1,2,3 gear, especially 1 & 2. Second gear take offs sux as well. I'm running a stock swingarm in which I know needs to be changed. Also have been told to run blaster shocks on the front. I currently am running a homemade setup which pushes the shock mount out closer towards the wheels. We just got through doing the engine 2 weeks ago and it is strong as an ox, I mean extremely strong. I am running 100 octane race fuel with yamalube R ( I really like this oil, ran it in all my quads through the years). What swingarm setup should I go with, which gears (sprockets) for the 1/8 mile asphault are best, anyone who might can tell me some good suspension setups would be helpful as well. Any help as a matter of fact! I'm ready to get this quad out and see what I can do ET and speed wise this spring but now I know it suxs b/c of the take offs being so lousy. Thanks guys!
  6. I wonder if he goes through pistons like he does his sheep with that gearing.......your quad is still slow man! 140 mph and an ET of 4.68 in the 1/8 here and 179 in the 1/4 with an ET of 8.1, now all I did was add a half bottle of 104 (octane boost) before riding, along with 8 ounces of oil per gallon......I figured if he could tell one, I could tell one bigger........LOL
  7. Screamin banshee, thats a nice drag frame in your pic there. I bet she can run you through pretty d*mn quick.
