discharge,im no pro but i could not get my 9/16's to pull the fatter pilots(27.5.30} it had the problems your decribing,but with the fatter pilots,it just would not pull off of idle worth a shit,put the stock pilots back in and and it cleaned up alot i run 290's,k&n,no lid,2 1/2 out on air screws raised needle clip up one pos.runs great,but i dont think these pipes will ever come off idle as well as toomey,fmf's that i have had in the past/them sonbithes do cool though!!!good LUCK.

Was anyone at little sahara OK this sunday on the dragstrip 3-6 pm? there was a guy on a real nice banshee ran over some towards the end of the drag sickest shit i ever seen at the dunes. anyways i'll tell what i saw happen,me and tha boys was up at the front,one of them was startin all the races,anyways this kid/guy was down at the end steppin out and stickin an old whip in the ground about 5-10 foot onto track/strip,anyways this guy on banshee pulls real close on the inside closest to the crowd were my buddy is flaggin starts and makes about 5 passes thru the drag and which I did not see it but the kid at the end of the drag hits tha guy in the face with the old whip that he had been sticking in the sand out on the edge of the strip,anyways I didn"t think anything of it but the guy on the banshee comes back around to make another pass and chin is bleeding,so he takes off on another race(about 5 feet from the line of spectators) any ways the kid with flag is standing out on the drag strip holding flag/whip which I am going to say is about 150 feet from where we are startin/and the guy on banshee is haulin ass right toward him/and kid never moved and inch nor did the guy on the banshee ever let out of it, and ran his ass smooth over,it was sick the kid does 2-3 flips 10 foot in air,one of his tennis shoes flew at least 50-60 foot in the air. It didn"t look like the banshee hit anything the guy pulls his shee back around about 40' feet from the accident and 4 guys hual ass out towards to beat his ass,he takes off back into the dunes,few of them chase him but i dont think they caught him though. Turns out the kids legs are shattered,broken arm and pelvis. I geuss the guy turns himself in the next day and admits he hit him on purpose,what sick a bastard.

For what its worth I'll tell you that dmc 9/16 pipes are the best thing that ever happened to the banshee. like all the other posts state the power is great,mid-range monster. The sound is the best part about the the whole deal,i get more compliments on the way the pipes sound then i ever did with my t-5's which i still love,but you can't go wrong on the 9/16. What I don't like is the finish on the pipes there ok,but they don't compare to paul turners,cpi,trinitys. I just can't figure out why when i go to little sahara ok on snakehunt/sandfest weekends, why me and 5 other guys are the only ones with these pipes outta 5 thousand banshee's+-?

I have the 9/16 pipes which i hear, is like the aliens i like them as much as the t5s that was on my last bike. i keep up with all fmf,toomey,pro-circ etc just fine and the thing about dmc is they are without a dobt the best sounding pipes on a banshee,but what makesme wonder is why you dont see very many, or at least not in ok.all in all best $ I spent so far! p.s. lots of midrange too
