  2. Ok, this may be nothing but figured i'd ask to be sure. I had my bike jetted by a local shop ( has a very good rep too! ) so i'm not sure what size jets/mains i'm running. All I know is, the plugs look good and the shee runs great. Well I got some vforce reeds and some new plugs to check the jetting. And when i pulled them out, the left side is just a shade or two darker than the right. I was thinking maybe there's some dirt or something in the carbs. But I checked the old plugs and sure enough the left side is about 1 or 2 shades darker. Now, both plugs are light tan in color so it looks like the jet's are fine. So should I adjust the airscrew on the left or right side? And which way should I turn it.. clockwise or counter clockwise..? Thanks!!!
  3. Are these still for sale? And do you have any pic's of them? What condition are they in? Thanks!

  5. It's not a matter of icing or electrical. It's a simple matter that metal expands and contracts depending on temperature. When you are riding on asphalt and go over a puddle you will probably notice it more than if you were on sand or gravel due to the way asphalt directs heat. Water creates a lower temperature area around it. So when you go over it the carbs get a degree or more cooler an causes the metal to expand. This can either cause sticking or cause it to bog the engine down. It's like riding a bike down a road in the hot summer and you hit a shady spot. You can definately tell the difference in temperature.
