  1. x2 on Impeller - i started running hot, nothing else seemed out of the ordinary, ended up being impeller issues.
  2. Bought a pair of new SKAT TRAK Extreme Haulers w/ reinforced blades due to anticipated motor mods and need to sell my other set of paddles. You can find them on ebay - $75 starting bid. They're in good condition, one small flaw on the inside of one rim. No holes, patches, plugs, etc. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GBC-SAND-DE...sspagenameZWDVW
  3. I instantly started thinking about ways to get some cash together! What do you guys think the odds are that they'll come out with something similar to what Dirt Wheels reported was in prototype in this months issue? I mean, a 500cc, twin cylinder, 4 stroke banshee could be one bad a$$ machine. But for now, I guess we'll have to dream ::
  4. I'll be in OK over Spring Break...i think we're getting there on the 21st or 22nd. We'll have about 15-20 guys. I think we'll be in Cowboy Camp. Would love to meet up with some guys to do some dragging, trails, and big dune roost'n.
  5. Ultimately it depends on what type of sand riding...drags, trails, drags & trails, hill climbs, etc. However, if you want the best sand tire/wheel combo that will cover all of the above equally well and looks nice, I completely agree w/ msprouse. The skat trak haulers in the 20/20/10 w/ 9-10 paddles hook up excellent for hill climbs, straight drags, and trail riding. If you feel you've got a machine that will put enough power to the wheels that you need the extremes then pony up the extra money and get them. Remember, the softer the sand...the lower the pressure. Have fun and throw some sand for me.
  6. Hellride96, did u guys make it down? I made a quick run through cowboy on thursday & friday but didn't see your group. My apologies if I missed your campsite...maybe next time. I'm heading back down the first weekend in June with a very large group and we'll be in cowboy camp, I'll make a new post when the time is closer to see if anyone is heading down. If you didn't go, you missed some great weather and riding. 70-75 and sunny until the rain on Sunday morning. Great weekend of roost'n sand!
  7. Travs, Sounds great. We'll try to make a run through cowboy on Friday night. Looking forward to a good time!!! We'll see you at the sand. Heath-
  8. good to see you back ledofthezep...saw you had a rough one recently. Welcome home
  9. We're staying in a house somewhere in town. If you're planning to stay at Cowboy camp we can make a run through and try to hook up. What will you all be driving/camping in that we could look for? We'll be arriving later afternoon on Thursday and will be doing some night riding on that evening if you all want to join. There are also plenty in our group that would be interested in joining in on the extra cirricular activities...
  10. Just curious if anyone is planning a trip to Waynoka, OK this weekend. There is a fairly large group of guys coming from Southwest MO to ride Thurs, Fri & Sat this weekend. We're bringing everything from Banshees to Quadzillas. There is also going to be another larger group coming down from our area this weekend. Just curious if anyone wanted to meet up and do some roost'n.
  11. There will be about 10 of us heading over from SW Missouri the 7th, 8th & 9th. Wouldn't mind hooking us with some more guys to rip with...get something together and we'll try to meet up.
  12. I'm going with a buddy of mine to a Trials Bike competition near Disney, OK. He said he thought the park was called "Grand Lake" and that you could ride quads. I did a little research online but didn't find anything so I thought I would ping you guys. I'm just hoping to get my Shee out and rip for a couple days...I haven't touched it since an early summer trip to Little Sahara. If anyone has any input on this area it would be appreciated. Thanks!
  13. I'll be there on the 17th - the 21st along with some buddies. We'll be in the North campground driving an older white/brown moterhome, '02 FORD 1/2ton, ext cab, FX4 with '02 Banshee - blue, with Pro Circuits, etc. a couple blue Raptors and an '03 Shee - black & red with Pro Circuits, etc. Would like to do some riding with some fellow HQ'ers if possible. Night rides are always a good time...anyone up for a good night ride?
  14. I'll be there late on the 17th through the 21st along with a bunch of other guys from Missouri. We'll be at the north campgrounds in an big, old, green & white motorhome with some in tents. I've got an '02 shee, blue & white with Pro Circuits and a bunch of other crap. There will be an '03 Shee, black & red with Pro Circuits, another older shee, a few blue & white Raptors and some other machines. Somebody post a place and time and we'll try to make it...
