I turn my front stock wheels around in the front to try and get more width for stability(adds about 2-3" on each side) and the valve stem hits the calipers on the front when the wheels roll. HOw can i put the valve stem on the other side of the wheel???

I sold my 2000 stock banshee ,witch was my first quad, for 2,100 cash, then the same day bought a 98' built shee for 2,100. It doesn't look like much now but it will stand stright up in 5th w/ out featherin the clutch! Anywho, I turned the front wheels around for more width but the vavle stems get in the way when the wheel rotates ?? how can i put the valve steems on the other side of the wheel ? This (hopfully) easy mod will add atleast 2" on each side.

I'm just wondering what yall think about this . I have seen a guy on real tv a thousand times trying to jump a ferry on a banshee and tapping the top of the boat and flying head over heals in to the water. The shee was ok and so was he. The overZealous rider tried it oncer again , this time clearing the boat but falling off the back of the quad, and brakes like some ribs or something. Who all have seen this? I like jumping shee's it's just that you have to be care full not to give too much throtttle at the end of the ramp or it'll be the end of you for a while.

I saw in a mag a few years ago where a guy moded a banshee to cross an inlet in a lake. He had it lowered, paddles, wide tires on the front and he even riged up a knee board up under the chasiss. I can't remeber how far the crossing was, but i was like holy shit. I remeber the article saying that he had to be doing 80. He made it though.

Koo, thanx guys. Well now i feel a lil guilty .. b/c that's my bike, i was just wanting a no holds back opinion . I'm gonna drop the price to 2,250 or so and see what happens. I went and test drove this and was wondering what yall think . 2000 Banshee, chromed swing arm, Charcoal chasiss, black a-arm and axle carrier looks great ,carbon fiber seat cover( black and dark silver), "good" blue plastics with a few stress marks shaved front fenders, newer fast trekkers rear, back brakes are good but the front does't have pressure. New pads though. no grab bar, front left has lil wobble, owner said that it was fix a flat( needs front tires). It runs great. REALLY quick for stock . Axle bearings replaces, new a-arm bushins. new sprockets. He wants 2,400 . What do yall think???

I'm wondering what are the top few things i should really look for in purchasing a 98' shee . I'm not sure what all is done to it, but it will SHAGG ASS . I know it has hhad rebuild, DG pipes(that are freaking LOUD), dirt digger clutch, seems like it has reeds or a port and polish job. the guy i'm buying from is my friend and he doesn't know what all is done to it, plus he isn't juss real sharp. THe bike doesn't look crisp but mechanically it is in top shape. It has more compression than my shee, but i want to know how much is good for a motor.

My shee doesn't want to start. I was wondering if the coil could be out, b/c it's not firing. A guy mentioned this so i'm asking

I really feel awful about it and it WILL NEVER HAPPEN again. I don't get my car back till June. Now i'm in a grocery getter... an Olds mobile 98. lol. My girl friend almost broke up with me over it. She scared me more thatn my parents!

I'm selling my 2000 shee, which is stock, and trying to buy my friends shee. He says that its like a 99' model. I really dont believe him. THe plastics are grey and yellow. This bike looks like shit.... but it will FLY. I'm not sure what all is done to it... It has loud ass DG pipes, reeds, that's all that i know of. I'm offering 2,300.

I wasn't hitting the boxeswith my car . My friend in the passenger seat was. And we are lucky about thing comin through the windshield . If i didn't jump through part of the yard then that bird bath bowl would have came right through the window... but i was off the ground enough for it to nail my right set of headlights. Yes i have grown up, and learned my lesson with that, and i will NEVER happen again with me around.

Yes it long... but read this if you have ever mess with a mail box. It gets really boring out here at night . So 2 of my friends and i decide to sneak out in my Z28. We were sliding around in some parking lots and playing with the good ol' e-brake. The pavement was wet. We got bored with that and decided to go hit some mail boxes. I was driving, I knew better, I took responsibility. This was my first and LAST time to do such an asswholish thing. We drove down this trailer park road, and my friend hits 2 boxes. then he gets in and we skipp a few... then we saw head lights come on. O SHIT. The car came out and block the road , so i panict and slid my camaro around and shagged ass. i was soo scared . i kept accelerating, i looked in my mirror to see if there were any headlights. Yup they just came over a hill behind me. then i look at the road and it curved hard left. I wasn't going to make it at 60 on slick pavement so i locked down my brakes and aimed between 2 trees, we jumped off of a lil hill and flew through a yard... Hitting a bird bath while in the air. Praise God, i some how slid 150+ feet through a tree filled yard and ended up right back on a nearby road! I continued to hall ass. My friends were scared shitless. It hit me then... My CAR!!! damnit. it drove fine. I checked out the damage when i got home . Front right side is crushed, the front R fender is cracked all the way down, it took out my right headlights and curled a lil bit of my hood. I diserve it. My shee almost got sold, i can't drive my car till june, i'm paying for the damage. Man i feel awful. Don't mess with mailboxes.

My friend has (had) a pretty kool raprtor set up. He can wheelie until there's a curve in the road. This was about 2 weeks ago... Aron (my friend) was showing off by walkin his craptor down this long ol gravel road. He was in 5th, i was close behind him. We were doin maybe 55-60. he sets the front end down with the wheels turned right, then the back right came off the ground, he tried to save it by going left but it just started to cartwheel down the road. It was throwing pieces of off his machine. Aron torn a rotator cup in his left shoulder and skined his back. The Craptor is now.... Crap. Read my other message about mail boxes... DON'T FU** WITH THEM

My favorite thing to do is wheelie... at first i was afraid to, then i bumped my grab bar and havent stayed off of it since. I've had to replace it 2 times in the past year, couldn't handle the pavement. ANd jumping too, i love that feeling of smoothness in the air....

As many of you know i stripped my shee to the frame and now it's "back together" . Shee runs, not really well, it smokes ALOT, I mean bellowing white smoke, thats from old gas(I hope) . My Main problem is that it wont go any where . I put her in first and let go of the clutch and it's a no go. The clutch is in GREAT condition cuz it worked fine before, now the rpm just drops a lil bit and goes no where????!!!! oh and the idle jumpes around on me too, when i giver her some gas it takes a bit for the rpm's to drop. I really want to make it to the track before Saturday!!!!!

I started off in a gokart. Now i'd like to sell them. I have a classic one wheel pull, two seater with the good ol' 5 horse Briggs, then a newer chasis kart w/ a 5 horse briggs, a one seater kart ( adj. seat, up to 6"3' ) w/ a good 6 horse Techum... and a 2 wheel drive 2 seater, 6 horse Techcum. Any one interested for their kids???

He didn't want me wheeling in the first place and when i hit the tree it just scared him. So he knocked the shit out of me. It's the only time my dad has ever done that. lol. It just scared him really bad.

Sorry so long.... but this is a good one I had a good bit of friends over just hangin out a couple of weeks ago and my dad was outside too. I just got my swing arm put on from getting new bearings and such, so i didn't have my back brakes( not good for wheelies). It was dark out side and my best friend, will, told me to show every one how a real wheelie master wheelies. lol . I poped the front end up in first, clicked in second, and nailed third . My dad said that i was movin around 25 or 30 mph on the back wheels. I remeberd seeing a tree before i poped her up. I went too far back wheels and began to scrape my grap bar, so i went to tap the back brakes . There were none! So i was just fling through the yard bumbing my grab bar. The next thing i saw was braches going through my head lights ( b/c i'm straight up in the air ). Then BAM! ...... silence. i landed hard on my ass and arm. My banshee was rolling, and came up on 2 wheels, about to roll for the third time, then i grabed the back wheel and sat her down. THen i yelled.... I'M GOOD . THen i braced for the second impact . My dad. He said every word in the book and nocked some since into me. After it was all said and done, i thought that it was pretty funny . THe shee suffered a REALLY bent handle bar, bent left wheels and crease markes in the plastic. I had the HUGEST bruise on my ass and a skined arm. This was my first and only wreck with anything!

I'm tired of blue. I just painted my shee chasiss frame charcoal, swing arm is chrome, and arms are black. I just want some other color.
