  5. Just wondering if anyone will be going to Glamis over the weekend of Memorial day. I just moved to the area, so would like some tips on what to bring, and maybe meet some people out there. I will be bringing 2-3 Banshees, a Blaster, and an LT250R. Thanks
  6. i am not familar with this motor. Right now i have port and mill job, V-force reeds, and pipes, how much will this motor bring up hp? All i do is dune riding... Kelly
  7. do you have the sensors and wiring for the carbs??
  8. westexgt accidentally posted on my name. I am his brother, home for the holidays from school. I own a 01 shee, and he has a 00 shee. We use the same computer, and forget to log off of our respective names after using the computer.
  9. Why don't you guys shut the f*ck up??? I need this motor gone to fund my new banshee. The motor is setting in my shop floor. I was tired of messing with it, and decided to pull it out and buy a built motor. I am keeping my kick assembly, and reed cages and carb boots, but the rest is there. I am pretty sure the tranny is good, but I won't say for sure, because I was having hell with the spring on the clutch side and never even got to try it out. I know it started and ran fine, just not to sure about the tranny. Clutch basket is worn, but the clutch had a little life left in it. Give me a call if you ahve any questions, but if I am tlaking funny I just had 4 wisdom teeth cut out this morning. Thanks, Kevin 432-631-4886
  10. there is a respectable guy that lives in the area and has had everything from a 250R to a Quadzilla, and now he hays a pretty sweet shee. He says that the Wiseco's will seize up when your bike overheats the first time, that's just his personal experience. What do you guys think??
  11. i have heard some bad things about Wiseco pistons. Can't the stock pistons take more wear and tear than the Wiseco's??
  12. hey boonman, is the shee gonna run hotter once i mill my head? I have never had problems with it puking or overheating.
  13. Hey axle, where do you live, i reside in Crane when not in Lubbock at school.
  14. it is much more wide open and like you said unregulated. It's not that crowded compared to what i have seen in those Glamis pics. Where i ride is prolly close to the same size but no more than 20 bikes are out there at the same time. Let me know if you guys wanna ride sometime...Definately worth the drive.
  15. Hey guys, i live about 45min away from Kermit, and have been there numerous times. It's a pretty good place to ride, but gets pretty crowded with some people that don't belong on a quad. My friend rode at Little Sahara OK and he said that the Kermit dunes are so much better. If ya'll are serious about riding, shoot me a PM there are some dunes closer to my hometown that are not as crowded and just as good that few people know about. But give me a shout if ya'll have any ?????
  16. my shee has never had heating problems, but since i milled the head .025", should i take some precautions in order to prevent over heating?
  17. i had a guy mill my head that ports heads for drag cars, i will just ask him to do it... Thanks

  19. appreciate all the info
  20. there is a local guy that does some bad ass work on car heads, would it be good to take him the ones off my banshee??
  21. Pulled off the hubs to paint, should i go ahead and replace the bearings inside of the hubs? I have a 2001, and it sees sand mostly. If i should replace, what brand? Do they need to be pressed back by a machinist?? Sorry for the newbie questions.
  22. Prices and pictures would be great. Go ahead and give me a price on the blaster parts. Kevin
  23. i am guessing you cut your box to allow more air flow, can you emphasize more on just where you cut it??
