Alright Ill be puttin some silicone in
my renthals!!!
-
Ok, The oil and antifreeze together is not good. you
need to have the problem fixed asap. As far as how it
got mixed together check the oil seal behind the water
pump, it could be bad, its located in the clutch cover. as far as
the leak check and make sure the clutch cover is tight.
Hopefully you dont have a crack in your case. good luck.

Ok i was looking on ebay and someone had
a set of renthal bars that were filled with silicone.
he claimed that it reduced vibration. Is there any
truth in that....should i put down the caulking gun????

I just ordered the Elkas...Man i can wait to try
them out. Now just have to wait. Took alot of
research, but i finally made a decision its
about time...now maybe ill do some work...
thanks for the help

I had one just to see what it was like...well its in a
tool box now and im back to my thumb throttle. After
almost wiping out a couple times i called it quits. But
if your use to motorcycles it might be your thing.

Alright this one of those choices that probably gonna
difine my ride. which shock is better Elka, Works...
or something else. Im gonna go for a triple rate shock.
i mostly ride trails and old logging roads and through
alot of river bank kinda terrain (sandy with lots of logs
and creeks and crap.) anyone got an opinion on which
brand is better. Im looking for a shock that doesnt break
or need rebuilt much. all i know is that the stock shocks
are dead.
Thanks

Ive got engine ice in mine. I had some overheating problems
(which turned into a engine rebuild) and when i put it back
together i put engine ice in and bettween that and a couple
of those inline coolers off ebay and a prodesign water pump
i dont over heat anymore. and just incase i got a temp gauge
but the engine ice is allright.

I got one and i love it. Its alot smoother powerband
and it give some horse. But i do notice a loss in top
end. But its got mad pull . I dont think ill ever
go back to duals cause i ride trail mostly...its still
faster than a craptor .
-
One word...Ebay.
-
Ive got a GYT-R on mine. Shee starts a whole lot better.
Plus it dosent bog out when i run thru water. Thats good
for me .
-
Go Pro-lites...i got em...i love em...melted the stock ones.
I havent heard anything good about veto's pistons.
-
Yeah, I know what ya mean on tryin to get usd to the powerband
it is still a challange for me. Ive almost dumped it countless times
but i never have done it in a wheelie on the shee. On my Craptor
its a different story. The first time i got to 4th in it i went back on
the grab bar and onto my a$$. It rolled like 3 times and when I
got up the tire was off the rim, both left arms were bent, handlebars
bent, grab bar looked like a taco. Plus lots of road rash but
oh well still got the shee, now i can get plenty of practice doin wheelies
on it.

One more question on shocks. What is the difference bettwen triple and double rate
shocks.
-
Whats different bettween aftermarket shocks with rezies and
those without....besides the price. Im getting ready to replace
shocks so i wanna go with the best.
-

Does anyone know where i can get a temp gauge for my banshee???
-
thanks guys got it working fine. Black knob and some cable
adjustment and its runnin great!!!!
thanks alot
-
just installed my trinity 2-1 carb system. How do you
set the idle on the keihin 35mm. I think it is the black
screw/ knob if it is which way do i turn it to increase
the idle. thanks
-
nice!!! i have a duncan bumper on mine
-
OK im replacing my cdi box so i was wondering if
anyone makes an aftermarket coil. If youve got
any good recomendations that would be way cool.
thanks
-
I just picked up a CV2 system w/ a 35mm carb.
When i get the rest of my engine back from the
shop it will have a cool head, new CDI and V force
reeds. I was wondering what kinda power gain I
might see. Reason why im asking is cause all ive
seen is stuff about the 33mm carb. Kinda worried
i made a mistake buying the 35mm I ride
mostly trail and open it up all the time.
what are you really scared of?
