  1. I heard mixed things about the rebuild kits- they start to rattle just like the stocker after awhile- there was a good write up on here on doing it yourself- with parts from the hardware store cost less than 10$ in parts from what i remember reading- I havent tried it yet but its on my list of thing to do- just my .02 *edit- found the link http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...c=18088&hl=
  2. I used a punch on the nut side- and a large fine adjustment tool- Good luck-
  3. If you are worried about strength I would go with the Honda Style- they are solid Rod and the tie rod end screws on- I think Tusk makes the ones i have seen- I was going to go with them but I needed +2 so i used the ones that came with my arms- stronger than stock but not as strong as honda style- RMATV carries them
  4. I am still not sure about my twist throttle- I started off hating it- It kicked my ass- litterally- I ended up launching my quad in the air off my fence after dragging my ass on the ground on an unintentiional 30 foot 12-oclock grab bar dragger- trashed everything on my front end right side, plus i was covered in road rash- You use your bars to throw a quad where you you use legs to throw a bike- I am going to finish this season with it then probably trade it to someone for there stocker or go for a 400ex throttle- lighter push- just my .02,
  5. I thought about doing this too, my only issue was, if you have ever tried to clean mud off a rhino lined truck... alot of times it looks dirty no matter what you do- it almost looks like it is so porus that it holds the dirt and looks like its stained- just my .02
  6. before you keep blaming fuel issues... do you have spark- I saw it asked repeatedly, but never answered- unscrew the plug from the head, hook it to the wire and ground it to the case, do you see spark, if not grab ahold of it, do you feel spark, this makes it hard to miss- if you have good spark then blame fuel, if not work backwards, wire, coil, etc... mine wasnt firing on 1 cylinder one day so i grabbed the plug wire while it was running, told me pretty quick that the wire had come apart- Harbor Frieght( i am sure other places have them) has a tool you plug inline with your plug- the bulb lights if you are getting spark- pretty simple but its easy to do-
  7. unless you have raised compression or adjusted timing... just run premium no need for race gas yet-
  8. I need: Front hub, Front wheel, Thumb throttle, Exhaust hanger by gas tank, bolts to hold tank at the front of the seat, Heel gaurds, Front bumper, Rear grab bar, Let me know if you have this stuff and shoot me a price also what color and shape are the plasics- Thanks-
  9. Actually went out of his way to overnight me the shocks i needed so i could make it to go riding for the weekend. Shipping sucked to overnight but thats an issue between UPS and I- Would definatley buy from him again-
  10. I just put mine on too- Running them w/ +2 Armadillo arms- the ball joints look to be kicked out alittle when its unloaded but nothing binds and they still move well- they sit just right when im on the quad- Took it on the sand sunday- it was awesome- several people rode my quad ( a few bikers that hate Quads too) and they all liked the way it handled- so thats my .02 i had to shave the right hand side upper mount an 1/8th of an inch, the left slid right in, I think my mount may have been tweaked a little, hence the reason i needed new shocks I f.u.b.a.r.-ed everything on the right side
  11. Count me in, my pipes are looking pretty bad...
  12. Thanks Guys I found the A-arms- The other Items are pending so that is all I am needing right now-
  13. What year is the quad-
  14. What year are these off of... pics of the shocks too- [email protected]
  15. Allright I need the following- A-Arms- I bent the right upper, if you have a stock one laying around, great; if you have a full after market setup, let me know. Shocks- intrested in YFZ 450 fronts, prefer 2004 model year Front Bumper- mine was missing- I want the hardware too, I dont want to chase down bolts. Rear Grab bar- I bent the A-arm after going 12- o'clock all the way down my driveway- it wore it flat- oh well Thats all I can think of for now, but if you have some other parts around, i might be intrested- I can paypal $$, prefer well known members- scammed to many times-
