Just a heads up on the weekend after new years.. Jan. 8th and 9th We are takin' a trip to the dunes. Me and my friend Josh Dick are the only ones going at the moment, so if anyone can go and wants to let me know. (if ya need a ride we got room) We are leaving at 5 or 6 am Saturday morning from Independence, KS So we should get there around 9am Saturday. If it is freezing a$$ cold down there we will puss out and stay in a hotel over night.

it's all good, I didnt know what they were for. I might actually get one and put on my big bar clamp and use my key again and lose the tag pad cause I hate the stock keyholder black plastic thing thats why I have my bar pad on

mine are maier race cut fronts and look pretty good now. They don't fit very well at all tho. I had to drill holes in the ends that go under the seat to get them to bolt up. I got em off Ebay for like 10 bucks, sanded em, primed em and painted em, they held up great for about a year but now the paint is starting to chip alittle bit here and there. I think they look fine most people think it's stock untill the look really close at the rib that is on the little fender part

like dat? it's called a key fob... I don't use a key sooo I'm shootin in the dark tryn to help lol

You pretty much have the same mods I do. (engine wise) The next thing (not to expensive) I am going for is a cool head and domes, but that is because I have some over heating issues or you can have your stock head milled that'll bump up your compression. Other then engine mods, handle bars and axles seem to be the easiest to bend so you might think about the aftermarket for those two parts. I put on tag T2 fat bars and clamp and a dura blue axle when I bent mine bumpers and grab bars improve looks rather inexpensively too DOH! didnt see your reply sf, sorry for reatin yas

I'm parting ways with my powder coated Yellow DG steel series nerfs with black nets. They have a few nicks and dings in the powder coat but they still look pretty good. the private property raised my eye brows... I would contact the owner of the property cause I don't think enless the owner is pressing charges they can't do anything to you for that part? I slid off the road into some guys yard once and got stuck the cops came, I told them I slid off the road he was gonna ride me a ticket for damage to property so I walked up to the house and asked the guy that after I got out of his yard if I came back with a shovel and filled in the mess I made if that would be ok, and he went and got me a shovel... boy it pissed the cop off How much is the ticket gonna cost ya? cause it might be cheaper to pay it

I don't think I'd try to tackle the back plastic, but I bought some used race cut fronts, sanded, primered and painted them and they are holding up nicely.. My only suggestions is if you want to do a good job... take your time and do it right.

My SB hits the 19th-28th...So I'll prolly be there the 25-27 (or earlier) depends on work load that week as to when I can leave. Hope to see all you mofo's in the sand again, we will def have to meet up and take a group ride again and maybe it won't be so crazy this time, some nice soft smooth sand sounds way better then the way it was last trip.

The vid looks pretty good, not much footage but what little is there is great. ( will put it to some music and toss in some graphics) Who else was jumping... white and black shee? I think April got some great shots of us on top of the dune and some action shots of TX and the rest of us that were riding while we were all BSin. PS... Oklahoma Schools didn't have school Thursday or Friday... that why it was PACKED Next time we all get together remind me to check the OK school schedule Other then it being ruff and packed we had a blast, I wish we could have rode more with you all, but it was hard to keep er under control with April and me holdin on for dear life. I told my roomate it was like riding thru a plowed field...

havent heard from anyone else so I'd look for them all in the south near the shop I don't know where we are camping yet, I don't like the south camp ground had some ruff nights there but I'll roll thru when we get there and see whats open we may stay in the south anyway soon as my better half gets outa class were gone, see ya at the dunes! I'm out like a fat kid playin dodge ball!

Mid day, maybe later on Sunday Spud, I'm sure I'll go out for a ride before I leave. just toss your quad (or the old mans) in the back of the truck and grab a pillow and blanket, you can sleep in the Ram if ya want I'm sure I or some of the other HQers got a few extra beers and hotdogs for ya to eat...

Talked to BigBoyBanshee and they are camped about 30 feet past Little Sahara Motorsports on the right (south) side. IOW (in other words) driving from the main entrance toward the Oasis they are on the right side alittle bit past the shop. They are driving a red GMC and a White Chevy truck Hope that helps any of yas Leaving in the morning See ya in the Sand!!!!!!!
