  1. Scott, The answer to your not-too-intelligent question is no. I thought, obviously incorrectly, that anyone who would read this forum would be smart enough to know that I will be replacing both sprockets and the chain with matching parts. I guess I need to specifically state that I an planning on putting the big sprocket in the back and the small one in the front so guys like you will understand. Thanks for your effort though. JDF
  2. My stock chain and sprockets are shot and I need to replace them. I ride 99% in the sand. I will stay with the stock front/rear sprocket ratio. Which is the best setup? Sprockets: Steel, aluminum, stainless? Chain: o-ring, x-ring or no ring? Should I go with a wider-than-stock chain? Price is not really an issue, I just want something that will last. What about maintenance and tightness? Lube or no lube? Basically, if someone out there is a chain and sprocket expert I could use a good lesson. Thanks in adance, JDF
