  4. I was riding for about a half hour the other day; jumped my driveway in 4th gear hit the brakes and it killed on me. I got no spark. All the wires look fine. Took off the crank cover and a little water came out. Its killed on me a few times before this when i let off the gas. Coil? Stator? How can i narrow down whats wrong? Any grounds i can check?
  5. Is that how you tighten the chain on the honda or yamaha? If not the yamaha how do you do it? Good to hear everything will fit.
  6. I think i need the four bolt one. I might be converting my swingarm on my 87 to a 2003. So i have to make sure it will work. I think there wouldn't be much of a difference between the two.
  7. Will everything on my 1987 banshee swing arm work with the 2003 swing arm. I'll be using the bearing carrier from the 2003. The 2003 is what they call a round house style isn't it? The threads are stripped out on the 1987 swingarm and it is a pain to adjust the chain.
  8. I need the hub the sprocket bolts to on the axle. I bent mine when I replaced the axle bearings. Email [email protected]
  9. I used the carrier instead of the hub and got it off.
  10. I can't get the hub off. Tried using the press and heating it up. The hub is just bending. I'm pushing the axle towards the disc brake and have metal supporting the hub. Any ideas?
  11. I been thinking of getting one just haven't got to it yet. Thanks for the info
  12. How do I get the hub the sprocket is on off. Is it threaded or just pressed on? Any tips on replacing the bearings?
  13. I had trouble water skipping this summer with the connection you disconect to remove tors (little black box on left side). The other owner just left the connections open. Water was hitting it and it would short and foul the plugs. Just covered it up, works good now.
