  1. Im selling the A Arms off my 04 YFZ.

They are in very nice condition.

I ran about 2 tanks of gas through my bike, then I set it up for MX.

You get: all 4 arms and the tie rods

You will need the "dust caps" (on the arms) and the tie rod ends.

Both these parts are the same on both the YFZ and Banshee, so you can use the ones on your bike now, and have everything you need.

    $180 shipped.

  2. Anyone in and around New Mexico, please keep an eye out for a quad that was stolen. The trailer hauling it was heading back from the Glen Helen national and stopped in Albuquerque where it was ripped off the RV and driven off with. The trailer has since been found, but the quads are gone.

The quad is a black TRX 450R with a carbon fiber "scoop" hood.

The wheels are Blue Carbon Fibers with brand new Holeshot MXR4s.

It has Grey Laeger A-Arms, a stock swingarm, and Custom Axis shocks all around.

There's a Curtis Sparks' exhaust system on it, LSR axle, a BLUE JB Steering stem and regular TAG Metals bars.

The nerfs are DG bolted onto Roll Design footpegs.

*Some stuff that makes it identifiable up close is the huge gusset on the left side of the frame as well as blue trim on the front fenders.

    VIN: 478TE30004A005384

*Ultimately, it's a black quad with blue "highlights". Chances are it's going to show up in a Cycle Trader or on a MX track... The police probably aren't going to be much help, but if you're a local rider you're likely to see it.

These are friends of mine. They just wanted to race the national circut, and some scumbags ripped them off.

Another bike that was in the trailer was a white YFZ with PEP shocks, Walsh front end and stock swinger.

If you are from the area keep an eye out please.

Edit- Here is a better description of the YFZ

My quad was stolen with Kirchner236. It is a white YFZ #96. It has alot of stuff that will stick out, sparks pipe with the name KKerrn on the end of the pipe, 250r rear grab bar, the sterring stabiler is bolted to the front bumper, front fenders have zip ties holding on the front noise peice, ac nerf bars have the heel guards cut out and black straps in its place. It has walsh a-arms with PEP 8 click res. shocks front and back, a dominater axel, and stock swing arm. Pleas keep an eye out for these bikes thanks KKERRN
  3. Yeah,

Im pretty pissed about my YFZ right now though.

It died on me at the ATV olympics, and I couldnt even race!

    banghead

When I got back on saturday, it was the first time I fired up the Banshee.

It started right up on about the third kick.

Im used to kicking my YFZ now,

The first time I kicked the Banshee I thought I forgot to put the spark plugs in or something. :rotflmao:

  4. A few of you might remember me.

I had my 2001 for almost 3 years, then learned that the shop sold it to me stolen.

I took off ALL my parts that I upgraded and gave them back the chasis.

They gave me a full refund, which I used to get a YFZ. I sold most of the banshee parts I had to get my YFZ ready for MX.

Anyways my tow truck driver buddy found what was left of my impounded banshee. I bought it back for $750, this time I actually own it. Sitting outside with the clutch side of the motor exposed a little was rough on it, though.

Anyways I bought all the replacement parts it needed and now its pertty much done.

I rebuilt it for a friend, so I can have another person to ride with.

I think including the $750 for the bike we ended up spending around $3000.

    New:

    - Hot rods crank

    - wiseco top end

    - every single bearing in the engine/tranny has been replaced

    - gaskets, of coarse

    - chasis bearings/bushings

    - V force reeds

    - Durablue axle

    - lots of little stock parts

    used:

    - some nice LRD pipes

    - PC'ed blue hubs

    - blue plastics

    Left overs:

    - Sidewinder chain/sprockets

    - Allooy Specialists axle lock nut

    - PD pro-flo foam intake

    - DR clutch

Thanks to Bob over at Magnolia Yamaha for getting me all the OEM parts plus a few more.

His prices kept us "under budget" and he had to spend at least 30 minutes just looking up all the part numbers I sent him!

Thats about all I can remember right now.

    Pics coming soon.

  5. Janssen used to be the one and only BHQ sponsor for a few years and then BAM they dropped support, I wonder what ever happened there.

Joel told me that no members were buying anything about a yr ago, so they stopped.

I have Janssen's LT front end, swinger, and Elka's on my YFZ.

I feel that there are better products out there (like WALSH) and I wish I knew when I bought the stuff what I know now (compression ratios, and such) but I paid $3500 for everything. That would only get me a Walsh front end!

Also my Janseen arms and swinger have a LIFETIME WARRANTY.

    Who else does that?

    - Shawn

  6. burnt up bearings mean no enough oil in premix or air leak.  TDR racing is probably the best/cheapest place around to rebuild them.  I think mine was $385 welded and with long rods installed.......  They have a website, just search google for them...

    289039[/snapback]

or you can get a brand new hot rods crank for $365 from hell-bound racing on ebay.

  7. This is one of the funniest threads Ive ever seen.

This guy comes on talking about using FIRE to clean parts...:lol::lol:

Then superchicken myth-busts his ass with the step by step pictures.

after all this,i would say myth BUSTED.shit all i got out of it was a pair of filthy hands and my wife yelling at me "What are ya a fucking IDIOT?"

    Thats some funny chit.

  8. Im not from there but,

I just raced a STQRA (South Texas Quad Racing Association) race in Highlands.

Probably the nicest track I've ever been on.

    I had soooo much fun.

It was the most quads at one race I've even seen (never been to nationals)

They had something like a 90ft step up- 5th gear wide open for me

In practice 2 people left in an ambulance.

I was thinking "Dam These guys are nuts! I gotta race them tomorrow??!"

Race day went smooth, though, and I got 3rd in "novice class".

    It was great!

  9. I came across this and thought it was good-

I am John Kerry (I think)

I am John Kerry. I was against the first Iraq war, I am against the second Iraq war, but I voted for it. Now I'm against it but I was for it. I support the UN. I'm against terrorism and against the Iraq war. But I voted for the Iraq war. So, I voted against the first war and supported the second war, wait...

I'm against gay marriage but for gay unions. I support gays but think the SF mayor is wrong. I support gay marriages. No, wait, gay unions.

I'm Catholic. Wait, I'm Jewish. My dad was Jewish. But I was raised Catholic. What am I? I don't want to confuse people.

I am for abortions, but wait, I'm Catholic, and Catholics are pro-life. But I might consider putting pro-life judges in office, but I'm not sure. I do know I voted ! for a pro-life judge, but I stated that it was a mistake.

I went to Vietnam. But I was against Vietnam. I testified against fellow US troops in Vietnam, threw my medals away and led others to do the same. But I am a war hero. Against the war.

I stated I threw my medals away then I threw my ribbons away. I then revealed that I threw my ribbons away but not my medals, then lately I stated that I threw someone else's medals away and never threw anything of mine away.

I believe ribbons and medals aren't the same thing. Medals come with ribbons, so now I believe that ribbons and medals are the same thing besides the fact that ribbons are cloth and medals are metal.

I wrote a book that pictured the US flag upside-down on its cover. But now I fly and campaign in a plane with a large flag right-side up on it. But sometimes, we fly upside-down for fun.

Yasser Arafat is a hero and a statesman. The Israelis shouldn't kill Palestinian terrorists, but t! hey should stop terrorism. Yasser Arafat is a terrorist supporter. I support Mideast peace.

I am for the common man, unlike Bush. I am against the rich. But my wife is worth a billion dollars, has a jet and many SUVs. I am the common man.

I am against sending jobs overseas. My wife is a Heinz heir. Heinz has most factories offshore. I am against rewarding companies for exporting jobs as long as it is not Heinz.

I own $1 million in Wal-Mart stock. I believe Wal-Mart is evil by driving small business owners out of town. I am a capitalist and I own part of Wal-Mart but I am a good guy for small corporate America.

I own SUVs when I talk to my followers in Detroit, MI. When I talk to tree hugging followers, Teresa owns SUVs, I don't.

I have a campaign jet that gets 1/3 mpg, which is great fuel efficiency.

I am against making military service an issue in presidential elections. I defended a draft dodger Clinton and stated that all serve in their own capacity whether they draft dodge or not. Did I mention, I served in Vietnam and am a hero? Are you questioning my patriotism? I served in Vietnam. My opponent didn't. I have three purple hearts! I am a hero. I am qualified to run this country since I served.

    I am John Kerry.

  10. notice none of the congress men would sign their kids up for the military, hell bill

o lie ly would even sign his kid up, he would go himself. please.

You must have missed the one that came out and said that he told More that his son WAS serving now, but it was edited out.

Sounds like you mssed all the other things in his "documentary" that were later proven dead wrong.

  11. Its all thats been on TV all day around here.

Our local FOX station didnt show a single TV show today, all hurricane coverage.

TAMPA - About a million residents and tourists were told to evacuate coastal Florida from Key West to north of Tampa

I've lived here about 10 years and this is the most serious Ive seen it.

No one around here is going to be riding for a few days at least.

Good luck eveyone in FL, it looks like a pretty serious storm is headed our way.
