alba_banshee Posted December 26, 2003 Report Posted December 26, 2003 Can someone please tell me about these wheel spacers I keep seeing mentioned? Who sells them? Are they worth the cash? Are there any downfalls to having them in a bike? Quote
erbilabuc Posted December 26, 2003 Report Posted December 26, 2003 i think durablue sells them and the only downfall is that you cant go big on jumps with the probability of breaking them. Quote
boonman Posted December 26, 2003 Report Posted December 26, 2003 When run on the rear, you run the risk of bending the axle. In the front, you can save some $$ by just flipping your rims inside out.... Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted December 26, 2003 Report Posted December 26, 2003 there good for the money, but dont jump on the, cause they would really mess u and ur shee up Quote
alba_banshee Posted December 30, 2003 Author Report Posted December 30, 2003 Thanks for the info. Quote
evil Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 if you could avoid it at all cost, stay away from them, a friend we ride with just snapped the right rear wheel off his craptor on a fast trail, wasnt even getting air or anything, the longer wheel studs sheared off at the end of the spacer. it wasnt pretty i have pics to prove it and fyi they were the "strong"durablue ones.
