  1. Haha negative. I’m hoping the gold becomes an accent and ties in with the other colors. I didn’t intend gawdy, just a touch of different. Engine internals will be behind black chrome and in the background. Last thing I need is a full billet polished build again. Still have to polish the wife’s show quad, damnit
  2. anyone know why the other pictures dissapeared in the original posts? I have been using Facebook URL's from my albums there. Thanks
  3. Getting weird in the garage! hope I can pull the colors together without being to odd: Huge delays in parts and service but that's nothing new. Might be on track again....
  4. Flying out to inspect this package. 2006 F650 (pre-dpf, last year HEUI) Cat C7 330hp/860tq, pro-loader so rides on air. 2005 Arctic Fox, 2003 Optima Aluminum enclosed. All original owner. Few extra pesos in diesel each trip but not depreciating like a “fxxkin new truck”
  5. Love my daily for start and stop all day. Bought my Ram 1500 new; lifetime warranty kid you not. (Not option on diesel tho). Got to have a hot rod for car shows. 1st world problems !
  6. Sniffer and visual but it will pass sniffer straight piped. On the 13+ Ram you need two computers which is $5k. Dpf and EGR easiest to leave in place and still bypass. Gut cat. The DPF would be trickier. Court in half and install straight pipe through. Lot of work but Probly 8mpg better and the engine would last much longer. I like your thought. Maybe re-look at 2012 without def. locogotto - new truck to sit as a third vehicle. Warranty out in 4 years. F that. For 80 grand I’ll get a freightliner super c and be done. $$$$$$$$$$$$$
  7. That’s some good insight DDQ. Wife baby and a couple dogs. Last year the drives were too much with them unhappy. If new diesel (2012+) I’m worried about storing then having codes from the pos dpf, def, and egr. I just don’t know.
  8. If I could delete I’d be driving a diesel daily for the last decade. Has to do with county registration rather than state. The most dense counties they visual check. Also a contiguous state has highway cameras for blowing black smoke up a steep hill. That’s a hefty ticket.
  9. Too many toys for 30' toy hauler and feeling dangerous using the daily 1/2 ton with air suspension. For the next 5 years I can't see growing past 13,000# bumper pull plus side by side on truck rack or flat bed. For the last 20 years I've said I'll have a stacker and sand car before I die but that's never less than 10 years out. Dually would be best for Idaho and surrounding where speed limit is 80mph and wind comes from anywhere anytime. Calling $50k the unneeded top of budget, $30k would be fantastic, what would you do? 1) Get a 2013+ diesel 3500 DRW, Likely Ford (deletin
  10. Pro mod Pro mod makes trans stronger? How would removing every other dog ear be stronger?
  11. I am sure he has, not really the point being made. Cam does have my driveline currently and urged 35mm plus to be more precise. He also put 35’s on my last serval. But anyway...
  12. I have the same engine and reeds but larger pipes. I too got the answer from them about not being able to tune for 28's. I've been down the road of 35's and know for my riding area I need the fuel economy and I like the lower power. I settled on 33's taking his advice in consideration. There are plenty of folks running 28's, tuned in well and they are happy. I sometimes get buyer remorse and wish I would have stuck with 28's. Opinions are like kittens, everyone giving them away, myself included. Cam at Redline will shake his head if you want any smaller than 35mm. Whats his name wh
  13. The 250r was fun to look at but didn't have that Banshee excitement. I'm over that. New build coming along slowly as parts arrive: The black chrome looks very different in different lights. The gold dust in the red really sparkles. Maybe see some gold this week, some recoated shocks next week and who the heck knows on the engine.
  14. Made a little progress but at a stand still until more powder comes back.
