  1. Hey guys, I need some suggestions for an up coming trip to oregon. I've been there once about 8 years ago with a raptor, but we never bothered with paddles. I've had the banshee (03) for about six months. It was completely stock with about 120 psi in both cylinders. Things I've done so far: T5's, pro-flow kit, +4 timing, tors gone, and as of this weekend VF3's and a Chariot coolhead (21cc), plus parking break block off. My ultimate goal is a bike that is as well balanced as a banshee can be. So I'm looking for sand tire recommendations. I'm thinking of getting the rims and tires all at once for convenience. I'm from canada so I was also wondering about just waiting till I get down there to pick em up. Any suggestions welcome, thanks. GnR

These are the next mods in line for me. Suspension is after that so if you have A/swing arms or shocks I might be interested. Thanks.
  3. Common guys I know this is an easy one for most of you. My main concern is to figure out the difference in jetting from lid to no lid.
  4. Hey guys, finally saved up some money to throw at the banshee. Other than the toomey's and vf3's I'm going to have a pro flow kit for a no lid set up, but if someone wants to give a suggestion for both lid on and off feel free. I'm at sea level, with temps in the 50-70 range. Quad is 100% stock other than these mods. Thanks.
  5. Thanks for the input guys. Ya it's running a stock head so comp is pretty good considering its never been rebuilt. Should get me through this riding season and then I plan to send it away for some port work.
  6. Well I just picked up an '03 SE on the weekend, it's in pretty good shape overall, just needs a little tlc. The only compression tester I had could only be threaded in half the length of the plug, but I figured what the hell and tried it anyway. It read a touch under 115 in both cylinders (sea level). Is this reading completely off? And if it is would the reading be higher or lower with the proper length attachment? By the way this is my first Banshee, and first time owning a two stroke machine. I'm stoked on it.
