  1. I've applied decals with and without the soapy water method. I've found that with the water method, the decals tend to come loose or curl up around the edges over time. I think some of it depends on the decal. The thicker the decal, the worse it is about turning loose at the edges. I prefer the thinner decals like OEM. Good luck.
  2. Quick check showed they are now out of blue and yellow tank and rad covers, but you can get RTR red in those. If you've got money to burn, order some of those 2004 or higher SE rad covers, $200-400 each. Haha
  3. You can still get OEM fenders from Partzilla, Rockymountain, etc. Some colors are cheaper than Maier. OEM full sets of blue, white, black, and yellow are available. I think the tank and rad covers are limited to those colors as well.
  4. Nice. I noticed you haven't used the 350 6-speed decal yet. Is that because of the quality?
  5. Pics and price for yellow radiator cover please.
  6. Yeah, that 350 detail is disappointing. I have 2 sets from that guy and his quality was top notch in my case. He worked with me once to get his yellow to match OEM. Then, no replies after multiple tries about getting red to match. I rolled the dice and ended up with a nice set of banshee graphics in Honda red. The search continues...
  7. Okay, good luck. Let us know how they turn out.
  8. Yamaha has discontinued a lot of the OEM graphics. You can find some OEM, but not usually all of them. I just got a set of replica 2000 model red and black graphics that went on the white plastics for that year. They are made by the ebay guy in Greece. They are good quality and look nice but the red color doesn't match my 2003 decals. I'd be willing to sell them if you're interested.
  9. I'll take it. Send your paypal address. You can take the snorkel off to help with shipping. I will just toss it. Thanks
  10. Hi. I need a stock airbox lid. Looking for one with no holes or cuts, needs to have the clips, and no snorkel required. Only ones I see on ebay are hacked up or from the banshee butcher. PM or post here if you have one. Thanks
  11. The wires mattered in my case. I got an Electrosport stator for my 250r. I plugged it in to match the wire colors on the bike. It had trouble starting and would pop and miss like it was out of time. Put a meter on the pickup while kicking and it showed negative voltage. I switched the pickup wires around and it fired fine and ran with no problems. That was 2 years ago and it's still running this way.
  12. He may not know what year he's selling. Those are stock yellow rims from a 95. The 94 had stock purple rims. I own both. Please quit hating cause I still run my yellow ones some. haha
  13. I was just trying to point out that Yamaha used the same red, code RTR, from 99 for the 07 model year. The only real new colors Yamaha made for the Banshee in the 2000s was the bright yellow fronts on an 03 limited (I think this was an accident) and the orange on an 08 model. Yamaha was great at ignoring the Banshee it's whole life. So, the only OEM fenders you have to purchase from outside the States are orange or red. Everything else that's available can be had here. The Motosport number is 787-790-4900
  14. Back in May, I worked with Tony, the manager, at MotoSport in Puerto Rico. He can get all the newer fenders and said he sells hundreds of each color a year. Puerto Ricans love Banshees, I found the youtube vidoes to prove it, haha. I got 07 red (RTR) front fenders for $240ish shipped to TN for $90. They matched the 99 red (RTR) rears I got from Rocky Mountain exactly. It took me a lot of phone calls and emails, but I got them. Good luck.
  15. Do you have a stock airbox lid with tabs and no holes cut in it?
