night and day for me. if you havent already call hjr and get a dune port along with tranny upgrades and then you will see what I'm talking about. instant hit off bottom end pulls hard through mid range really shaved off the lightswitch power band to top end and seems like its never gonna rev out just keeps pulling hard fuel mileage suck though...

+4 swinger stock shock with eibach spring from mattscs. works good just had to play with rebound and comp a few clicks and i weigh bout 210 with all gear and 220 with my six pack rack full

well it turns out that it was force 3 reeds looked fine but apparently something not right with them put stock reed cages in and it ripped againhttp://bansheehq.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif just need to rejet with filters off in the street it rips with them back on its running rough go down on mains or needle?

anybody i cleaned up wiring harness now just what needs to be there and still same thing at high revs sputtering and no power starts and idles fine

can i just ground lights and such to places on the frame instead of running everything back to cdi ground thats also grounded to frame not removing cdi ground just want to ground lights and switches closer to where the molex connector is at.

parking brake has been off I'm gonna go through wiring from front to back and remove stupid wires i don't need maybe a wire is shorted somewhere? and it will get up in speed just no power and hill climbing is non existent.

Ok guys this is the deal i have an 04 banshee with fmf gold pipes 300 mains stock pilots 27.5 i think air screws 2 1/2 out +4 timing .40 wiseco cool head 22cc domes and 135ish lt and 139ish rt cylinder. v force 3 reeds and k&n pods otherwise pretty stock. the problem I'm having is thing will not rev out starts fine and idles good but when you hit it it justs bogs and like backfires the tors are removed have been since 04 this just started i completely disassembled the top end carbs reeds cleaned them out and still nothing. i think I'm chasing an electrical gremlin cause its almost like a tors backfire but nothing has changed. it was running fine till this last trip to glamis last weekend and I've been scratching my head since. any suggestions out there am i missing something?

So just got my fresh top end from kevin new crank and assorted other things. first off let me say kevin is first class from the first motor i took to him to the last one i just picked up always picks up phone and answers questions doesn't blow you off and explains everything. i thought i had a huge problem and i was worried about new jugs but no worries its back up and running now can't wait to get out to glamis this weekend and destroy some 4pukes!!!

I have the go pro 960 and yes it does beep if you hold the button down you hear it through your helmet. I like it a lot I have used it in the sand at glamis and the water at havasu with the sealed case works great and memories recorded forever. i use it with a macbook pro and for those that don't know the mac has a sd card reader built in much faster than hooking up a cable to transfer data.

Hey guys i have trail tech lights the connections to the lights came off inside. My question is i tried to just hook them up directly to the posts the leads to the lights it works but gets real hot and nearly melts the wires. do i need a resistor or something in line with the power lead from the stator? and what size? any help would be appreciated.

Went yesterday not much in new stuff but cool to look around and the power probe booth has the OCC chopper on display that was just on tv 2 weeks ago looks better in person.

Aggressive dune port top end so carbs or pipes opinions?

OK I have an 01 with herr jugs porting t-5 v-3 160 comp and +5 timing .040 basic stuff now my question is would bigger carbs im running stockers now. would i get the best bang for the buck that route or CPI's or Shearers? i ride dunes exclusively i ride the dunes hard as well as line up at the hill and drags (glamis). So im thinking of getting a set of bigger carbs and any recommendations on what not to get and what really works and would it be an improvement?
