hi I'm puting fmf fatty and pro design air filter (without lid) on a stock banshee, I changed jets for 270 but when I try to open the throttle in first gear it wants to die... I'm just not sure if I'd need to go with bigger jet or turn the air screw... when my shee was stock I did this change with an other guy and he used 270 jets and turned the air screw and i ran 1 year with this set up without problem... I just don't know anything about the air screw... can someone try to help me?

thank you!

if you are running it without a lid on the airbox, i wouldn't even think about running a main jet smaller than 300. also, you probably have to up your pilots to 27.5, if you are still running the stock 25's. if you have the 25's in, you can try your air screws at like 1 turn out. even tho your buddy had luck with his jetting spec before, every shee can act a little different, as every engine doesn't respond the exact same to the same mods.

The air screw circuit is for idle and just off idle... If you have the airbox lid off with Fatty's, I agree

I would not try anything smaller that 290, or 300's, at 1000ft. Actually with your +4 timing, and other

mods I would bet you will be at 310's or 320's or better??? Also read BenBB's Jetting FAQ document...

Its good stuff!

Good luck...
