Ryda85 Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 So i was in the local shop, "Extreme Machines" in NJ picking up some gas and i was talking with one of the service managers about my bike. i told him i wanted to bring it down one day to put on there dyno to see what kind of numbers i put out and he starts telling me they do custom dyno tuning. He wants 250 for the dyno time and tuning. Now im no "jetting master" so it i was thinking about giving her a shot, but 250 is alot to spend for me right now. Anyone else here have any luck with a dyno tune? Quote
Snopczynski Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 You can use it to get jetting close, but does the dyno have a brake? If not, then your basically only going to be able to set the main jet. Typically when I do a dyno session I am swapping out parts and doing fine tunning with timing, and other small items. Quote
KEVSWS6 Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Dyno tuning is great if the guy doing it is good. Will he change out plugs, jets and mess with timing? Does he know Banshees? Quote
Ryda85 Posted August 13, 2008 Author Report Posted August 13, 2008 guys who does the tuning is tommy miceli. anyone here of this guy? http://www.xtrememachines.us/miscpage_002.asp regardless, i will be bringing the bike down there next sat to see what my passion stroker puts out. ill let you guys know how i make out.
